If you are unable to connect to an update server, or if you expected to be on the live server and you are on the PTS server instead, please download this file into the root directory of your install.

Then run the lineageii.exe file, and run a full check.

Please let us know how this works.

(if anyone is still having trouble and still getting Pst here's what ya do if your not too computer literate..
:1: once you've down loaded the the Fix and Unzipped you then..

:2: Send the Fix to LineageII Folder. (it should ask you if you want to replace the current LineageII icon)

:3: Click yes, then click on the icon you justed replaced (it should start to update Automaticly)

Ps: my brother is Dyslexic and often need's a step by step Guide

Answer
The 810 board video function does not have a separate video memory and borrows power from the main memory. 3D functions are also weak, and there are many people who simply consider this "non-existent". Thus Lineage 2, and other 3D games for that matter, are nearly impossible to run. The 810 board does not have an AGP slot. Any user desiring to upgrade this must be prepared to spend considerable time with the motherboard.

you can click on start in windows in left bottom corner and then click on RUN and write there dxdiag and run it
and then go to Display tab and you will see what you have if you have agp and so on. You can also run there 3d tests of your gr.card.

Well, there ARE machines with only PCI which still have halfway decent (read: technically able to run L2) graphics cards. You can buy some of the GeForce 5x00 series or ATI 9x00 Radeons as PCI versions.

May be I do something incorrect. But after update I try to start the game and see only banner in the beginning and than nothing happends. No tasks in system monitor. Watched in Firewall settings. No rules fo Gameguard or Lineage. Help me please. Almost I downloaded LineageII.zip file. Test ok. All files updated correctly.

The best way to make your issue known is to put it into a thread devoted to your topic. Using one thread as a catch-all will only mean your issue gets buried in a disorganized thread. Please use the Bug Report or Technial Issues forums. QA regularly reads the threads in those categories. You're likely to get a much quicker turn-around time that way.

All day I have trying to get this working, but still just the PTS server, I have done our download a dozen times, and still no good, please kindly explain in greater details how i can get back to Teon, I never even tried the PTS in the first place, so why is it all i get now :(

Okay, I had the same problem... only Bartz was showing and no characters at all. So I uninstalled Lineage][ and did a complete reinstall and C3 update.
Nice, now I can actually get in game.... but woa there! I cannot navigate through any Catacomb, dungeon, Town or building structure with locking up. Yes, I updated my drivers and Dir X is 9.0c as it should be. I have an NVIDIA FX 5950 Ultra video card with 256 mb memory on the vid card; and a 3.4 ghz. system with over 1 gig of ram.
I don't have this problem with any other game or application, only L2 Chronicle 3. It has become unplayable for me.
Any Suggestions to resolve this video problem?

if your video card is built in to the mother board then it is AGP, it is just integrated and thus can't be replaced, it is still AGP though. if on the other hand you are using a PCI or PCI express card, well then not sure what to say there.

ya know i'm havin the same issue, when I long in bartz is the only one showing. I downloaded the patch, however, my internet connections sometimes cuts off, so the dl gets terminated. Could this be a reason why I can't get the lives servers?

Me too, my little brother is having this problem on his computer. He doesn't play often, so he had C2 on his comp, and when we went to play; it says update server is disconnected. I down't loaded and replaced that LineageII app file, but still no dice. His accont's costing the $15 a month so the meter's running.

Could someone please help me work this out for him? Do I have to down load the whole game? I hope not.

Look in your Lineage II folder. Do you have a file called patchw32.dll? Mine is dated 12/12/2003. If not, send an email to the address in my profile. I'll pass it along to you immediately. It should fix your problem.
