with the wealth of quests being offered in C4 could you please consider expanding the number of concurrent quests that your character can have running

at present i have many that i have running at the same time and i dont wish to loose status on some older ones but i cannot start the new quests i would like to

so could we expand the number

And Change the inventory so that quest items are not included as regular inventory slots. Some quests have a ridiculous amount of items that you need to collect and submitt, on a long haul grind session this severly limits your inventory space.

Like most players, I would imagine, I do not start and complete each and every quest in contiguos fashion. I start a quest and complete it as I grind. There are few rewards for ANY quest that warrant a start to stop completion of the given quest.

I agree with you in this Kuro, you should ba able to start as many quests as you want. 15 is not a large number, given the scope of the game and the breadth of the game.

That's funny.... I hate the L2 quests and quest system so much that I didn't even know we had a limit.

For both the number of slots and the items affecting inventory.

I do my quests the same way as mentioned, I get them, and then just work on them as I hunt. The way the quests are designed, it drives me pretty much insane to focus on the same quest, as some of them take ages to even get one item.

absolutely agree here
As a warsmith, I find an irritating lack of room for everything, from quest space to wh space to me backpack. Very annoying to have to constantly use both of my accounts and all of my toons to switch things back and forth, I finally had to set it up so each toons wh is designated for a certain purpose, one holds gear, one holds spellbooks, one holds mats...absolutely ridiculous, and I couldn't do anything if I didnt have two accounts. Half the time I can't even do quests without throwing things on the ground to do an exchange with the npc and picking it all back up again before someone comes along. Very difficult to do in town.

Please...we need more slots for inventory, or much bigger warehouses. Not counting the quest items as regular inventory would only be fair, since we can't dump it temporarily in the warehouse.

look at this link, there are dozens of new quests

http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/translations/C4/quests/

is there a plan to get more quest slots.. as the current limit will inhibit choices strongly

Especially the problem with quest items counting towards inventory space is insane. For example, some of the new quests in Hot Springs want you to kill several of the mob types there to collect quest items. The quests are pretty long (have to get 150 resp. 300 quest items, which most people will not do in one "sitting"), so those quest item slots are occupied for a long time. Since you have to kill several mobs types for each of the quest, we are talking about at least six quest item spots permanently occupied, and that is only for two quests! With some other stuff in the inventory like sps, ss, soe, a bres, magic haste pots, two weapons, pet plus food and of course several other quests running (portal stone for Antharas, bloody fabrics, etc.), I am STARTING my grinding days with about 60/80 inv spots occupied. And now you gather up the usual thread, animal skin, silver nuggets, coal, charcoal plus some mats and the inventory is full in the middle of grinding.

Thank god for fishing&increase in inv space. But really, the quest items never should have counted against the inventory space in the first place...

I agree. Expecially with the ones that really don't matter. Black lion mark, then the eyeballs. And some of the quests you have to pick up a few different things, as well as taking your inventory space with a sheet that supposedly tells you what you need to get, etc. Same with hunting license. You get the license, the laurel pins, the sheets for the next mob you have the contract for, and then the drops from the mobs. Can take 5 or more inventory spots, and for the little amount you get from them, grrr...

I finally got rid of Cybellin's quest, just to free up enough spaces to speak to quest npc's. Man that I would like changed to, can't talk to NPC if your inventory is 80% full. What kind of rule is that, the quest takes 5 spaces, and then you can't talk to NPC to finish quest becuase all the items the quest has you collecting pushed you over the edge. I can't count the number of times I had to throw a pile of stuff on the ground in front of NPC in order to finish off a quest.

trust me, that 80% rule is there for a very good reason. there was a series of nasty bugs with quests that wouldn't activate properly, or failed to progress, or got stuck because people would not check their inventory for space BEFORE getting a quest. so, to make sure that wouldn't happen anymore, they are making sure you have space in your inventory, hence the 80% rule.

annoying it may be, but the alternative was worse.

Most of us have to stay at 14 quests to do the festivals. 14 slots for quests just isn't enough, especially with the crazy long ones like the dvc robe recipe quest and gc armor recipe quests.

I am up to 13 slots my self and I dont want to remove any of my current quests.

IMHO they should add increase quest slots by fishing

yes coz developers suck... on PTS i have 106/80 inventory (after the 1st boost). it's hilarious to add such a limitation.

15 quests active is kinda funny, if you have nobless and 3rd job quests in the same time.
Adding: inf. ore, dimension rift, ench weapon, antharas, S grade armor, S grade weapon, TOI blueprints, yoke the past, some fishing. Canceliing a quest seems like a mantadority.
