I am sure this question has come up before but can you reseal "A" grade boot and gloves?

no

You can but it's a pain in the butt. You would have to find the mammon bs, seal them, then unseal them again to the proper set. Costs AA you know, and time and effort.

I am pretty sure the mammon BS does not have a "seal" option, so I think once you unseal the item, that's it.

A grade can't be resealed which sucks. I'm just glad the helmets don't have to unsealed to a specific type of armor set.

Hm I could have sworn there was an option to reseal A too, just like B. If you couldn't that would be lame :/

By all accounts I've heard up to now, you can't - and I haven't seen a 'reseal' option either when I was dealing with the mammon.

Being the lowb that I am, I obviously didn't pay too close attention though. :p

Sorry to bring up this old post...

I have heard that there is now an option since C4 to reseal and then unseal A-grade to a different set now. Is this true or just a rumor?

Unless my eyes decieved me, or maybe I was jacked up on too much wine, I did see the the option to re-seal A/g stuff now in C4.

Isn't it s'posed to require a broken seal or something?

Leftside is what item you want to get

Button right shows what you have to have for it.

Yes sure, if the winning side of the 7 signs competition does not get the seal which gives you the BS of mammon, you of course cannot use him to unseal/reseal A grade.

What purpose does sealing and unsealing armor serve? I mean, I am told that unsealing releases the bonus or gives more p.def or m.def or whatever......but why are they sealed in the first place? Just another way for us to spend our adena or what? And further more, what reason would anybody have to REseal anything?

EllieBelly

You'd have to reseal it if you want to unseal to get the bonus of another set. Yeah it's really just a time and money sink.

Lets Take a prophet or BH/WS who has different armour masteries

you only need to change body armour and can switch between sets, it was like this till c3

now you need to carry 2 entire sets. thats the main idea, at least i think it is

I believe it was put in so that the boots and gloves would match sets visually without requiring people to hunt for three different kinds of items.

No, I mean the seal from a sealed piece of armor. I believe I read somewhere that you can only reseal an item if you have the original broken seal of back when the item was sealed. That was a confusing sentence.
Anyways, just wondering because I didn't see it in that picture.

See that DOES actually make sense, but why would they seal helmets? As far as I know, a helmet is just a helmet right? I mean, it doesnt have to be like "light", "heavy", "robe", etc for each set.

I think by the time they did A Grade sealing, they'd somehow forgotten the reason for B Grade sealing ... or wanted to expand on the system. The two mechanisms are unrelated to each other at any rate.

Ya when they were advertising this before C3 came I thought man neat idea. But just like everything else that gets implemented in this game. It just becomes another adena since.

Wait, actually, I have a theory!

Imagine what A Grade seals would mean if we had an actual seven signs competition.

A Grade set boni are supposed to be a 7S reward?
