I have noticed frequent updates to the Korean Client since c4 has went live. My question is will we get the original c4 client that rolled out overseas or will we get the newer more updated and refined c4 client that has been receiving updates for quite awhile? If we could get through all of the bugs that have been fixed in Korea that will make the transition smoother much less the customer satisfaction will be much higher.

Well... I really would not fear that NCSoft would spend all the effort and time setting up the PTS, collecting the reports of bugs, and then release the original C4.
We will get the best version of C4 that they have.

Every chronicle before this one, NC has released the US version with patches all applied. So, they will probably continue this practice for C4.

if we copy the major length files from the c4 version of the pts will they be good enough to save large amounts of time in the c4 live update again this time around ?

Yes.
Or just copy content of PTS directory over your regular client and run .exe that will be available to download when the time comes. Check official annonces for this way of patching.

If you copyed the C4 PTS system folder too you would be overwritting your LineageII.exe file in your normal C3 install. This file is what determines Normal or PTS. The reason i said everything except the system folder is so you retain your LineageII.exe and just update all the content files.

WHy can't we put our live "lineage2.exe" and that simular file in the "system" folder in our PTS clients and then run updates? I think it will be easier then copying everything but those 2 files form pts to live clients.

You can if you want, but then you'll have a C4 converted to normal server folder and an out of date C3 install. Being the C3 install was the one that you did first, it's the one listed in your add/remove program list with the correct registry entries.
There are alot of ways you could go about doing it, but i only see issues doing it that way.

I take it you installed the game ether by the CD or by downloading the game client from the website?
Then you made a copy of your normal L2 folder and named it something like Lineage PTS. Why not just copy all the content from your Lineage PTS EXCEPT your system folder back into the original install you made.
Thats what i'm going to do... then remove my L2 PTS folder.
