At least not the state that it's in, yet ANOTHER big bug was found last night where noone defending Innadrill castle could spawn back in the castle. The bug where people can port in to the noblesse competitions still works, when a castle is engraved and the people who get ported outside crash for no reason at all (C3 bug thats not been fixed).

Now in my opinion, those are 3 big bugs that need to be fixed and that can change the results of a siege or noblesse competition, basicly 2 of the major events of L2. Now NC soft says that it does not interfear with in game "suff", so does that mean if a castle was taken because the defenders couldn't respawn back at the castle NC soft would let them keep it or give it back to the defenders? Truth is, a siege is very unpredictable, a castle can be taken in 6 mins, events can change very quickly so there is no way of knowing the results and no way of determening who the castle should go to.

Fix the bugs on the test server 1st, thats why we are testing it afterall. As soon as a playable version of the game is ready THEN and only then should the game be shipped to the real servers. It really makes me wonder what is going through peoples heads when not everything on the PTS has been fixed and they announce to go to live servers. There was me thinking they did a good job with the PTS i.e boosts ect.

Perhaps they'll fix the bugs on live (and perhaps not on pts).

how about testing that the fixes actually do what they are supposed to do and not cause more problems.

I don't know if you were around, but when c3 hit live servers, there were still a lot of bugs left in PTS that never made it to live. I expect this will be very similar.

I would be inclined to assume that they have fixed the Olympiad bug at least, and will probably fix whatever Innadril siege bug came out too.

They have a tendancy not to update the PTS with their bugfixes and just put it on the actual release. It doesn't serve best for testing and if they gave us more detailed notes and better information about most things we could not only test the game better but enjoy the overall experience and anticipation of a chronicle like the Koreans get to.

I mean someone must translate things for NC, can't one of these guys give them a proper list of patchnotes as detailed as Center gives us? She isn't even paid for what she does and she can manage it (thanks again Center!).

If they released Chronicle 4 with those bugs still in place then they need to get with the program!

I wuld like more detail about the Innadril castle problems... we are curently the castle owners of this castle and...... yeah it wuld suck mayor *** now if we lose the casle becose of an bug craeted by NCSoft... specialy when we dont get compensated for it.....

Defetively an exploit and no fair for us.

I think it's very possible that the know about these bugs and have them fixed on an "in house" version.

Remember, we don't have a list of bugs that they are aware of and have fixed. That innadril bug could be something they know about. Even if they don't, it could be an easy fix.

As long as the bug is reported I feel the assumption is that it SHOULD be fixed by launch.

If the bug appears after launch, then of course, that is a problem.

Our next set of sieges, we all need to spam Support with our crash messages.

Don't you have to be clan level 3 to at least engrave the ruler?

Quoted for truth.

I was one of those arguing that C3 couldnt be released just as the OP did now. However most of the found problems (especially the bad ones) had been fixed when they got live.

So, this time I will give the developer team the benefit of my doubt.

A LOT of things get changed/fixed and never noted in patch notes etc. Wait till live servers then throw in a complaint and expect some action. I don't think people understand that it is actually quite expensive to patch games so they aren't going to change every little itty bitty bug every day and re-release the patch again and again.

Put C4 back in the box and mark "do not open 'till Christmas" :D

don't release C4 it's not time
how come C4 is late Korea has had it for over 100 years
release C4 it's time

Okay, I've covered the main thoughts on C4

Oh yea, almost forgot, when is C5 <-- either before or after Christmas of some year? :D

I recall several bugs on C3 pts that were there until the game went live... signed in, they were gone.

So I'm not too worried.

I suppose it's called the public test server for a reason - no doubt a closed test server is also running, and they do all the major debugging there. As far as I understand, the PTS is only for finding major errors in the first place - just as our community brainstorms and doesn't design the game.
