The official Lineage II web site has a new look!

Many of the sections have been updated with Chronicle 4 information. However, please note that the Items, Recipes, and Skills are not yet updated. We are working to update these sections as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience.

Please report any problems you find on the new site in the Site / Forum Issues (http://boards.lineage2.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=site) forum. Thank you!

Nice job on the site, while I liked what we had I always was envious of the ever evolving packed with content Korean page.

The addition of a non scrolling server status is especially nice!

I love the new look  It's a lot more stylish. Now you'll be on a roll if you throw in some new content over the next few weeks! (besides Library updates) Still a very nice surprise.

Mistryl, Even though the re-design is incomplete (looks at the side bar frame fly to the highest corner of the window)

I would like to say you are doing an excellent job and the new design so far looks ******ic (can i say ******ic on a public forum?)

After using the site for a little while I think my only criticism has to be when using the forum, the side menu seems unnecessarily wide (given the black fadeout) and causes the main body of the forum to appear narrow. This is further enhanced by the fact that it's a black space and therefore appears larger or more prominent.

To me it's very noticable compared to the old layout, the menu did not take up as much width.

Other than that I think the site is great as I said above. I'm sure myself and any others who feel the same as I do will get used to the forum feeling a little narrower.

I hate the new look.

It looks pretty and all but you can see it is designed by someone who owns a real big monitor and uses a big resolution (A common mistake for webdesigners). Try viewing it on 800x1024 (still quite common with your customers) and you will notice that 40% (60% on the main page) of the screen is used to bring non essential pictures. The bar with buttons takes over roughly 20% of the screen as well.

I advise you to make the header and navigation bar slimmer so that people can view the content without having to scroll every time they click on a link. I especially hate what it does to mesage boards.

Now you can grade the new design instead. They have classes these days for web designing? In my time we just had some artsy boys who did the work. They always made the same mistake they did on this design.

As a graphic designer myself, I definitely agree with the points made here. Don't get me wrong, I really like the general "look" of it, but some things can definitely be improved. Even looking at it with high resolution (1600x1200), the sidebar takes up too much space.

The other thing I really don't like is the forums haven't changed. Now, there's nothing wrong with the forums themselves, but they're still that awful blue color...they look extremely out of place, like badly designed frames. When I looked at the new site for the first time I went "oh, hey, that's cool looking" and then I went to the forums and had to turn my head...it hurts my eyes.

Oh my god... I love the new design.

The way the forum is offset from the navigation frame and banner bugs me a bit, but only in juxtaposition. The skinning/ typography made me cream myself.

I also like how it loads now. It's most definately a more efficient design.

Finally it comes. The new look is cool and faster to load for me. So will the forum change it's outlook so that it load faster?

I don't handle change very well. I prefer the old C3 blue look. And blue is such a pretty colour too.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 76+ skills :)

To be honest I don't quite like the new design. Something is wrong with it.

I somehow feel uncomfortable with this new design. This is probly because the forum is still the old design so the colour doesn't match at all which makes it giving me the uncomfortable feeling.

Maybe you should try out VB forum. VB forum is able to support up to over 2000 active member online at the same time. And it's features is far better than this one. I know this because I am runing VB forum myself it's quite good. :)

Good to see new changes tho.
