I am patching C3 To C4 and do i have to buy credit for it or does it just use the previous credit for C3?

Chronicle are free of charge, they are part of Lineage 2.
Your subscription still work as it worked before, it just that instead of C3 you play in C4, but it's still Lineage 2.

Just a hunch, but I'm betting it's cuz your connection to the update server has been terminated. :p

I was booted several times from the update server while patching. Very heavy use period right now. Good Luck!! :)

Don't worry, there are so many people trying to download that the update server will regulary have to be restarted when it is congested again. Just try and try and try again. It is a pain but most of us had to do this as well.
It took me 2 full days uploading the C4 client for the pts.

Well ... I was trying to diffuse the situation with a little humor, but I guess it went over your head. :p
The bottom line is that with everyone trying to download/patch C4 right now, it's gonna be just a little bit slooooowwwww! So I'm not really sure what kind of help you'd like atm. If you're getting booted, you just have to stay after it until you ... GIT 'ER DONE!!! :) :)

Everyone is just trying to update their current C3 to C4 which makes it much slower.
Just download the whole game or the PTS and u'll get a faster connection already. That's what I did and it worked well ;)
