What is the difference between the different coloured lures? I tried green and purple, but it seemed like I got the same stuff from both.

The green ones are cheaper ;)

No seriously, I failed to notice any difference on PTS in all the hours of fishing. Ok, I wasn't exactly counting the different kinds of fishes I was getting.

I want to know the diffrence between the grades too (High Medium Low) because all it says it that it effects how long it takes to get a bite...Well, i always get one if i keep moving from spot to spot, so...

I thought that was it; high grade, the fish bite faster than if you were using low or mid grade.

The difference in grades is higher grades more strikes, but you have less time to land the fish.

The different colors all land the same fish, but last night, my friend was using purple and I was using yellows... he got monocle pieces and hair pin pieces where as I was getting recipes. So I think the color gives you different stuff from the conversion process.

What recipes? What grade rod?

I got like 200+ greater fish oil recipes and 75 supreme fish oil recipes with my A grade rod.

Get the best rod you can afford without going higher than your Grade proficiency. You won't regret it. The proof of fishing I sold last night will pay for my next 4 A grade rods.

Can anyone confirm if Clan Halls are the only place to get recipes for crafting of items?

you get recipes from mobs of any sort ..it just depends on the mobs you are hunting what kind of recipes you can get .. or you can buy from others.

We're talking about common craft recipes. Not dwarven craft recipes :)

PLeChan has a very good guide in the Player guides section, although the drop table is incomplete ;)
Anyway, the drops that are listed are correct, i got Greater Oil recipes from Small Jade Nimble Fish (level 4) and Premium Oil recepies from Blue Ugly Fish(level 8).
Remember to keep list of what u get and mail to PleChan, so the guide gets completed ;)

Different colour lures bite differently in different kinds of water (in parallel to the ability to find certain kinds of fish).

I had huge trouble getting the fast fish lure to bite in aden city (3 in 10 I could even try to fish) but when I moved to a river in the forest of mirrors, the problem resolved itself (9/10 bites again).

I'd assume it goes
- Fast fish prefer rivers
- Fat fish prefer lakes
- Ugly fish prefer either the sea or springs (no test).

Interesting.
I used high grade lures at hardin's - I think the water there is a lake? I had very good success rates there.

The grade influences the speed of the bites, that's all - the colour is what ought to relate to the kind of water, according to the fishing guys.
