Okay, here's my thing. I'm going to become a CON dwarf. -5str +5con so here's my question. does STR effect the land rate of my hammer crush/stun attack? or will -str only effect my damage? I'm also doing +4wit -4int because i want the increased spoil speed and debuff resistance.

As far as I know, CON affects stun land chance. +con will help you to that end. However, I 'd recommend going +str instead, since kill rate is what you lack (damage), not HP. That's, of course, if you're not constantly spoiling in good parties.

Yes, CON helps you resist stun. I'm sure that's what you meant.
Gladiators using low grade blunts to stun with, leads me to think that STR doesn't help you land stun.

well +con will not help you. you are already a large meat bow that doesn't inflict much damages...
and how does WIT help spoil?
I'd rather go +4 str, 4dex -8 con, +4 wit -4 int (no skill of urs uses int anyway).

The question he asked was "will the land rate of my stun attack be affected by the -Str?"
I believe the answer is no, but it shouldn't matter anyway-- dealing damage is more important to a dwarf than taking it. I'd go +4 Str -4 Con and +Wit -Int (can fighters touch their Int? I forget ^.^)...And wit will help spoil faster...

WIT DO NOT affect ACTIVE skills, thats ATK speed, to spoil faster go +DEX but it's barly any difference.
What WIT do help towards thoght is the dwarven class bigest weekness debuffs, So you lose NOTHING to guy and buy one of theos tatoos at the shops -5 INT +4 WIT in fact int is 100% pointelss for a dwarf.

Oh yeah oopsy forgot about that. I don't suggest getting a +Dex for a dwarf, truthfully. Their blunts don't crit often, the extra running speed and attack speed won't help too much. Would just be better to get windwalk and chuck a haste pot. Haste pots will improve spoil speed :D

Well thanks, my main concern was if -STR would cause my stuns to fail more often. I'm not going after a +STR build because I do 2 things ALOT. (1) Train bot parties ALOT. and (2) Party with spellhowlers/spellsingers. My damage is worthless. The way I play its my HP/Stun that make all the difference. As for the WIT, considering I guess spoil isn't effected. I'm still going to get it for resist debuffs, because with 10 WIT I seem to get them a lot. Thanks for the replies.

ppl argue with me but i beleave +str effects stun rate for dwarfs
grab a low ng blunt and then try and stun a mob your lvl
i know for sure when i went +str stun landed more (still miserably low rate)
