Banning, temporary/permanent

So I just read that more then 21.000 accounts has been banned since september 2005.

But what is the penaly actually???? do they get a temporary ban or a permanent ban?, and for what offences do they get what banning?
How long is a temporary ban, if that excists.

..... just wondering, because I still see a lot of b**s on my server, so lets say 1/4 of all b**s etc. is banned, that result in more then 84.000 accounts who are not playing by the rules. Lets say 1/3 of these are banned within the same periode, that brings us to approx. 27.000 banneable accounts.
If there are like 6.000 accounts on all servers, that gives (9 servers) 54.000 accounts. so theoretically that result in like 50% of all accounts are b**s etc......

..... just wondering......

NCsoft will not discuss thei bannings with you or me or anyone else.

Most bans are permanent bans. 72h bans only exist for the boards.

Yeah, and you forgot, the minute after they are banned, they open another account, so the numbers won't equal up to 50% of the people on the servers. 1 person could be banned 100 times. Its nice to see NC is doing their jobs though :)

there are weekend bans for violations of the chat filter ( first offence) but where did you come up with that number a link would be nice
