well me and a buddy of mine have been thinking about this for a while now, but correct me if im wrong isnt lineage 2 supposed to be a mideval fantasy role playing game, i mean with the castle and the knights and all.

so i know all you developers are all busy thinking of what too cook up for chronicle 5 (if so) so maybe you would be so kind as to take this into consideration.

-Where are the horses? first thing i think about mideval times is knights and horses, dragons aka stryders and wyverns are fine, they are part of the mideval culture but you cant over look the fact that horses had such a huge impact on those times, maybe its time to inplement them give the game a little more difference i mean youre always trying to make every chronicle huge and im sure many players here would love to see another ridable pet mainly horses.

-The Ability to sheath our weapons - i remember back when chronicle two was released you said u added weight to arrows in order to give the game more realism, well ive been a loyal player since open beta and i can tell u its rather boring to have my duals always out, as far as realism goes i doubt anyone would walk around always with their weapons out so maybe u can inplement this, be it if its one sword have it sheath at your side, or if duals X formation on your back.

-Capes and Cloaks - come on the slot is there isnt it time its finally in? those big bulky armors like Majestic heavy would look evan more amazing with a cape attached to your back.

there is plenty more ideas we disscussed but i cant remember them at the current moment so thats its for now. but so far with chronicle four i have to say i am really impressed mainly for all the new sooooo much needed character costumazation love that formal wear :D

Well thats my two cents hope maybe see one in the next big chronicles.

Well... all of these things have been brought up at one time or another.

I think all of them are viable though I would like the "sheathed weapon thing since it seems unrealistic to always be carrying your weapon unsheathed (my gosh.. is there no law  )

well its not ment to be a Mideval game, its a fantasy game but that doesnt make your suggestions bad. i would realy like them to have horses and for that mater many more mounts, ranging from non combat mounts like ponys (we have to have ponys) to trained war horses (and other animals).
and cloaks would ad some more individuality in the game, and not to forgett, i would look very good.

As far as "sheathing your weapon" goes, you can just unequip it. The effect is the same. In fact, I tend to do just that while in towns (as well as switching to walking mode).

Ye, you can unequip it, but wouldnt it be much cooler to see the duals strapped to your back? That huge 2handed sword sheathed in yer back, or that damascus on yer hip?

Give us capes pleaaaase :)

nice suggestions, heard before but still nice, bring em on!

if horses would be implented it would really be a bad thing.. it would make striders main use (transport) non existant, and if horses become available to alot of people the gatekeeper will be out of a job aswell

well it depends on how they make them, i wouldnt want them to be stronger or faster then striders, i would be happy to have a horse if it just gave me ww1 but then i mostly want them just for the looks lol

It also depends the strider would lose its movement importance, but if you made it so striders, got attacks like Fireball or w/e they would still have an up on horses.

Plus...where could us Tyrants put our fists??, the fists are too huge and obnoxious ><

Actually.. that brings up a good point...

Maybe they could go a step further and make it "horse like". A bit more "fantastical".

absolutly, a more fansty like creature would probobly fit the game better, but we would still need ponys :)

Well you could always make it so that you cannot attack on horses. That would give people a reason to use a strider. Or nerf your damage a little on horses or something. Still though if you just gave horse that same stats as striders when you are riding them it wouldn't get rid of striders. It would just give us a choice of riding a dragon or a horse.

I still think we need some more little islands. Maybe like an island that hosts events. Like for every holiday you take a ferry to the island an it is all dressed up for that holiday.

I still really like the sheathes. But I don't think duals should go on your back. Just have one on each hip. You don't even need to have the sheathe. You could just do what FFXI did an just make them have static cling on your body.

see my whole idea with horses is not to replace Stryders because u can never do that, if your a castle lord a stryder is still more important to you than a horse in the sense of wyverns, and just cuz you have a stryder now doesnt mean you go out into the world without using the Gatekeeper. for the gatekeeper is the most essential thing for us pvp lovers.

ive thought a little more about horses and maybe you could evan make it a quest just like the hatchling, raise the horse up from pony or little horse w/e u wanna call it just like a hatchling lvl and than have it grow into a rideable form, it will b same as takin a unicorn mirage and just make it bigger and alllow em to b rideable cant be too hard.

i know you can just unquip your weapon for that look, believe me i have done that many times since open beta but its still not the same effect as it would have if you had it sheath on ur side or back.

my whole idea is inspired for change, we all love the changes that c4 brought and since chronicle 2 weve had stryders thats two chronicles now, doesnt have to be horses or any of what im mentioning but i do believe a change should come as far as a new option for rideable pet.

What I would like is when you sheath your weapon it still counts as being equip, so you can't drop it. I also belive for the fighters it would be fair that you could sheath a secondary weapon. For example, a gladiator uses his duals but when he wants to stun he needs a blunt. Sure he can just use a NG blunt, but if he didn't want too, shouldn't he have the option of a better grade that he wouldn't have to worry about dropping? Also when he switches to his blunt, his duals could drop...if he died...making one very very sad gladiator, and most ppl don't play their character to this fullness becuase of that fear.

The only problem I see with this is, making it possible to sheath both weapons. A simple solution I guess would be to not be able to sheath 2 at a time. So if a person does have a secondary weapon, he just can't sheath is main weapon, or vise versa.

I don't see why a glad couldn't be made to be able to stun with the flats of his blades. Wouldn't even need to change weaps anymore. Guess that's a different thread though.

Well in any case, my only hope is that ncsoft producers actually read all of our suggestions and inplement them into the next chronicle i mean in reality those few oints alone are not that far from imagination and cannot possibly be too hard to inplement IMO

Yeah, if anything a gladiator should be able to stun with the pummel of his sword.

So your saying kind of like a second weapon slot?

Only 2 weapon slots? Where do I put my other 2 weapons then? I need 2handed sword for dmg dealing, blunt for stunning, bow for some ranged pvp and a pole for wrath and earthquake or whatever at 76+.

haha, we'll make you an exception
