Likurg, I played with you since prelude. NEVER have I been so offended. I always looked up to you as a good leader, and died by your side.

Tonight WAS a ZEEERRGGG. PERIOD. You can call us all the names and kick us in the crotch with insults all u like...truth is: There is no pride in holding hands with picnic baskets while singing kumbayah to the castle doors.

Taraza is a SWS and there aren't many on Hindemith. Any siege he attends gives his side an unfair advantage and thus Core is a zerg.

I must admit that was an awful lot of people to take a single castle but ultimately I understand why those clans decided to claim Dion.
Excessive?(yes) unavoidable?(no)

I don’t think any of the attacking clans expected this siege to be a challenging one.
The very reason Quicksilver took this defense contract was to train against a large scale force, QS has nothing but thanks to give both attackers and defenders.

Was a fun siege, Grats Braveheart.

Just to make something clear, RoundTable didn't asked Legend for help, and i believe they didn't asked the other alliances either but i can't speak for them.

When a clan or an alliance piss off half the server, expect to be zerged.

Again, they didn't asked for help, Legend was there on their own.

the attacking clans dont "hate" each other, they just dont stand on same side always.

and the reason everyon was against KOS other than that they s*ck is, because of one simple reason:

Real players > botted bought accounts.

i exclude QS mercs from this (all nice and legit players), they were hired by KOS and did a great job as mercs (ouch kitty, nice crit o.o), gj Sun.

BTW when likurg sieged aden, he never cried zerg anners :)

fun siege zerg or not, server punishes those that think they can KOS everyone.

how come when someone loses a castle they always have to claim it a zerg?....look at it this way, if someone wants it bad, they will zerg, if you wanna keep it bad, you need to have a zerg defence....and a castle seige is suposed to be a LARGE scale battle, its not the attackers fault you didn't bring enough defece. Don't cry over your loss, instead recruit a million clans to help you take it back, as it sounds like your alliance can't handle the force that stormed you. this shows yet again why i am NOT a clan leader, the drama is pathetic and they probly spend more time in politics and whining on boards than ingame leveling ::~::*Sigh*::~::

Anyone who has played starcraft knows what 'zerg' is. Well in 1.04 it was partially fixed. Still the sheer numbers outweight any pros in quality. Lineage war system doesn't differ much from the ancient wars (except range was not so unbalanced). So bringing more forces will ensure a victory.
I, myself, dont have any problem w/ that. L2 is designed to factor in politics and diplomacy. Amassing players will always be the way to win; I am yet to see a minority force succeeding in claiming a victory, save for some lagging.

Alliances rise and fall w/ all the drama involved; yet, I doubt if zerg will be removed as essential part of the way to the win. Neither noblesse, nor heros will be able to withstand 'zerg'. On PTS was clearly proven a hero kiss the dust (or pavement) facing 2 players similar level.
Like I said I am fine w/ zerging tacticts...
What I dont like are post trash flames floating around.
After all it's a simple game... Some ppl take it too much to the heart... (botting/buying accounts, simple scams, etc); Still in a two sided conflict one will be proclaimed the winner. The loser may always find reasons for the bitter defeat; but 'zerg' is a vital part (and very reliable) of the warring in L2.

I've yet to see someone from KoS say it was a Zerg.

They said it was a fight, the attackers brought the Z word into this.

These kind of topics is what makes me love the server. I have a rough day, things aren't going so well. I come here read these post and I'm laughing so hard I'm falling out of my chair. People and how powerful they think they are from a game, and how stupid some can be to whine and complain about the game. If some of your really have that much of a problem with odds being against you or this ugh.. Zerg.. then go to another game. These topics are just plain out hilarious. I probably wouldn't enjoy them so much if some of you were just kidding about it all, but sense that's not the case I'm still laughing.

I don't know about some of you, But Lineage II is relaxing and enjoyable to me and that's what I want. Some of you seem to take it a bit too far.

When a clan or an alliance piss off half the server, expect to be zerged.

Ummm.. well, I still hate Legend. That's just me. However, KoS has been doing a lot more trash-talking and chest-pounding in recent weeks than Legend has. Therefore, I went to Dion with one thing in mind... Kill KoS. I succeeded several times... even on their untagged buddies. Let me tell you... Kuedera.. I mean, MadMagic... loves getting silenced.

I won't lie... the urge to Gloom and Death Spike a red SultanAhmet was almost too much. My will is stronger than I once thought.

Well, to me, a Zerg is perfectly acceptable, if not my prefered option and not very honorable. But acceptable none the less.

It's always been like that throught history in real live and it happens in the game all the time. To me bringing 4 times the force you need is a tactic as any other that wins wars or, in this case, castles.
Moreover, you get forces enought to zerg if you are good in politics or the atacked are too bad in politics. Politics are an important part of this game and commonly accepted.

I really don´t see the point on crying zerg.
Zerg it back or get good tactics and win it back.

Appart of all that, the siege was boring and I am also unhappy about it, but for different reasons.

And, last of all, If RT doesn´t merrits the castle, RT will loose it. As simple as that. IMHO.

People in D grade have a right to follow their clan/alliance as any A grader. LvL does not make a person, heart does....

My point is, theres botters, ebayers, account sharers or bought accounts in every clan/alliance. I admit KOS has alot, but we saw all the others (Theres just NO exception trust me) do the same so why dont you all stop being hypocrits. I saw all these clans do something "wrong" by myself. So police your own clan before policing the server is my opinion. set your boundaries and live by them stop trying to look so perfect, you aint.

I was defending with KOS myself, cause they were the only ones who could actually raid toi bosses by themselves this week to help me do my 75 quest. Whoever said real player > ebayed account well let me tell you this to be a good clan you need LEVELS, ORGANISATION and ACTIVE MEMBERS! if your missing any of the 3 your clan is weak imo.

If it was directed at me I never claimed to be perfect. We had some problems with botters in CC and took care of it. If we have any in RT I don't know about it but you do know I take care of these issues ASAP. This siege was given to us I never claimed it was not. Could we do it ourselves? Maybe but it would have been a lot tougher fight. The point of my 1st post was simple KOS ****** off at least 3 alliances I know of. We did not asked to to help us siege they came because they had issues with KOS. RT did not cause those we just took advantage of the situation. I don't see anything wrong with this tactics. Do you?

It was fun all in all and I have no hard feelings for anyone as usual to me sieges are nothing personnal.

Core killed Longhorn on its own this week, it was just a shame the other bosses were down when we wanted to raid. The farmers arrived at longhorn just as we were finished, bet they were ****** :) Oh we did Lilith 3 times (maybe more, but I was at 3) too. Its just a shame this was an abnormal week, what with the former redguards being Dusk and all. Face it, if the alliances dont like you they aint gonna go out their way to pull together to take down raid bosses for you.

I was allowed to follow core when they do it, Legend when they do it, Divine when they do it, PRO raid setup when they do it, Legionaires, round Table. to be honest the only alliance I didnt even try to pm on the subject is epoch. Wouldn't say storm would have helped me since I never got a hold of domisun, but all those I talked too were really nice besides being a bit lazy at times.

Legend helped me do cabrio with quicksilver.

think what you want I could have got the chest from core if it didnt take you guys all week to raid 3 bosses.. funny you say too bad bosses were down when I told oakley 3 times during the week when they were ALL up. People were exploring C4, it has nothing to do with people hating me KOS just did it before you all got done fishing, your an idiot lol. Thats only directed to you, most of core are good people in my book, I considered you that too until you talked to me like I'm some peice of [censored]. Who are you besides a gimp gladiator. I dont even know wich clan your in. Your sig says your a 75 SR... yeah right, wich 75 account did you buy or was given to you? in other words you're a nobody, and if that SR is real I bet it has under 20 PVP count.

Yeah... I laughed when I saw the statement that KoS were the "only ones" that could do it alone. That is funny stuff. Titans could take down every raid boss alone before the end of C3. I'm sure it hasn't changed much in C4. I think the statement should have been that KoS were the "only ones available" that would help you do the quest.

Truth be told... despite the fact that you've irritated me in the past, you also tend to make me laugh. I probably would have helped you do the quest if I had known about it.

KoS only has a problem with Legend because some members were pked and griefed before the war started. Ever since then it has been KoS vs Legend and thats it. They do not dislike any one else more then Legend Dislikes Core. Its a KoS vs Legend and i would imagen it will contiue that way until there is peace.

Wether you are allowed to follow or not, I simply stated we were capabale of killing the boss but would not go out of our way to raid them for you when it was not convenient for our lv75s. I was online when it was announced you had asked for us to help you raid for class change, I didnt see many of Core jumping for joy sayin lets go raid thats for sure :)

I could see a zerg coming at Dion from the very instant KoS took castle last seige weekend. I saw people there, pm'd and asked what they were doing there, EVERY reply I got was, "I'm here to make sure Tido2 and friends dont have a castle". Funny enough, none of those tells involved Legend or RT members, but other alliances. Just from reading the forums and talking to people in game, its not hard to find out KoS is a very disliked alliance. Weather it be certain people in the alliance or the alliance itself, whatever beds you have made in the past, you sleep in in the future. I have really just this one question to ask. If you saw the zerg forming, or knew it was coming, why didn't you ask any alliances to come help you? Get what you need to make sure you keep your castle, if you fail to do so, your own **** faults.

Yeah titans could raid alone if you said it 1 week in advance that saturday at 8pm you will raid. KOS could raid almost everyday just cause they are all 75 and almost all nukers. Thats all I meant.

If it was directed at me I never claimed to be perfect. We had some problems with botters in CC and took care of it. If we have any in RT I don't know about it but you do know I take care of these issues ASAP. This siege was given to us I never claimed it was not. Could we do it ourselves? Maybe but it would have been a lot tougher fight. The point of my 1st post was simple KOS ****** off at least 3 alliances I know of. Actually Targic first thing Epoch did when C4 was on the real servers is raid O_o We got some key mats and EAS that way Oo. After that we did Lillith. Just because you don't see us doesn't mean we're not raiding :) We raid a lot actually, if/when stuff is up.

It took 10 minutes to break first door, another 10 minutes to break second door and enter trone room. And then it took another 13 minutes to cast ruling spell.
Frankly said, it might be done quicker. But noone really cared about it. No golems, no cannons, just blind rush.
Yes, it was zerg in the end. No, RT did not call up the whole server. Legend was there before siege, RT was there as well. Oblivion and Divine showed up a bit later. It was quite quite possible to siege castle without last two, but even though we appreciate their support.
Does is all matter really? Nope. Not for KOS.

The overall siege was not that organised. Once we have seen odds, we asked ourselves: heck, why bother about difficult tactics? Just rush in and take the castle. It worked, and it was more fun than slow-pase "tactical" siege. It would not that fun to wait for golems and cannons. Nor would it be costs effective.

You can call it zerg whatever you want. We don't deny the fact numbers were greatly uneven.

After all... If was fun. For me personally, for many my friends. I hope it was fun for defenders as well. Good game, guys. Good fight. And good luck next time.

First of all yes was a zerg because the numbers outfit the attackers, yes we asked about Aden in official forums when we was in Mafia, but we come to the boards to ask that in spite off we were outnumbered was a really funny siegue, not like saturday thet we only found few resistance and really chickens-without-head-runing (not quicksilver that was the main resistance) , so call it a zerg, yes you can, but don´t come here and compare to Aden defence, is completly different, in Aden we lost real xping time, not $ xp.

for Anners I don´t know what is happening but when someone give you the trust to know the inside of their clan, if you come here to throw to his face the "secrets" that you know doesn´t say so much from you.

I've been wrong before, but :

1. Engraving completed 29 minutes in.

2. KOS was in mafia SUNDAY night at 10 p.m. est (first time I saw them in giran)

3. Divine was not invited to Dion, as a matter of fact, we were threatened by the almighty legend that we would be killed if we were caught trying to ninja the castle, even though we weren't signed up.

4. Our PVP at dion consisted of 3 of us trying to take down Xtops/ gf btw, Sorc > Bish,AW and PS lol, Babygirl 2 shotting winternight through the doors, and a few MDK people on the east side of the siege grounds.

5. Titans is not the same mafia we fought in the war we had, they are the cleaner version IMO. I don't claim to know all about them, but I respect their game style.

6. Whoever owns siphex and jesyca are doing a horrible job of PR.

lol who did that? Afaik the only question that came up when we were told Divine would be there was "do they know that it is not Legend who wants to take the castle, and that we just want to make sure RT takes it?". Other than that, general opinion was "they want to come, too? Sure, why not!"

This wasn't a shot at legend karigan, and yes I pm'ed you first to let you know of our intentions there. I also said you and I worked it out. I guess I could have worded it better to convey my thoughts. Which were to refute to someone else that we were all happy with each other being on the same siege grounds. (I haven't figured out how to quote many people in one post yet without typing it out.)

Like someone else said, labelling the siege as anything other than the server throwing an unliked clan out of castle lordship, is just naive.

I did not say that. Maybe I worded it wrong, too (and maybe I should use less smileys, oops :) ). We had more or less a common goal, and that's it. Even though I distinctly remember several Divine players telling at least my group "nice to siege with you". Well, everybody has friends in most alliances, it's not as if people do not know each other on our server.

KoS allied with Mafia for the siege so we wouldnt target each other. Everyone knows the Mafia that showed up wasn't anything near the same people, so stop making us look bad.

I was told Legend wanted us out of the castle, and that they had arranged it to go to Likurg's clan thru someone else because he was away. Why legend didnt try to kick us out themselves, how would I know?

And to those who say it wasnt a zerg, you must of been at front, not being able to see everyone and their mother behind you..

As for Divine, I only pvp them over hunting spots, and when I think I can win :P (doh- only saw Sciblade at first >.>)

Once again Hindemith proves that it will not stand for 13-yr-old "Lord of the Flies" bull.

Of course the 13-yr-olds will cry "zerg".
Of course the 13-yr-olds will throw the "carebear" name around... to them it means anyone who likes skilled combat and who hands them their behinds in a straight up fight.
Apparently it is "carebear" to have skill and friends and to not BSoE at the first sign of a straight-up fight.

Now all Hindemith needs to do is to be more regular in their pursuit of farmer guilds and it will become the paradise of L2 servers.

Grats to the new lords of Dion. Grats to Hindemith and its working form of player-based justice.

Yes, DJ is in your clan. But that has nothing to do with this. He has his own personality and freedom to choose whatever the crap he pleases. (Except other women x.x) When BH was in Legend, we fought each other at the Aden seige. He killed me...so I kicked him in the shins, went back to my desk, and resumed playing. Oxo por supuesto que era un zerg, es un sentimiento agridulce, puedes creerme,pero nosotros no organizamos un zerg, imperivm estuvo planeando el ataque desde hace semanas, y vimos la oportunidad, lo comentamos en Rt, y una vez alli vimos que se habia venido todo el server.. los unicos que creo que habiamos contactado /(porque no tengo linea por lo de aramiska y estoy esperando que me la pongan) fue Legend,hablamos pronto en el juego.

Oxo of course it was a zerg.Its a sour feeling,you can believe me but we didnt organize a zerg.Imperivm was planning the attack for weeks,we only saw the oportunity and we mention it to RT.Once there we saw the whole server came.The only ppl we contact was Legend.

Hehe nice translation. ^^ But let me explain better what happened.

Imperivm and AveFenix were planing to siege Dion a month ago. Back when Mirmidons had it, but we ended up canceling it. Then we proposed it to RT about a week ago knowing that KOS had greater firepower than Mirmidones. Then Legends showed up since they were at war with KOS seeing an opportunity just to make sure KOS lost the castle and for PvP. Just minutes prior to the siege we learned that Epoch Divine Oblivion and others were comming too. This was something we didn't plan. Their reasons for comming are unknown to me.
