with all the current bugs... this is what you're doing? If you are fixing bugs, it would nice to know what ones.... as i am currently avoiding certain things that seem to cause errors...

I'm still curious what the problem was with the trees. I've used my special trees and they worked as well as they did in the past. Anyway, I've used all of mine up and the last tree was standing with about 5 minutes left when the servers went down.

Yeah, really. They seem perfectly compatible with C4.

DAMIT! Thanks again for letting us customers know what's going on in the game. I had purchased about 100 dice before C4 came out. They didn't work but gave a dandy message that you can sell them to the NPC store. Since they were freaking useless I sold almost all of them back to the freaking store. I'm glad I was too lazy to get on another charater to sell those.
pftttt - why even bother posting on this site? All you get from NCSoft is company propaganda.
I heard of someone working over a large pumpkin in C4. One of those angels from TOI spawned out of it so they beat the hell out of it with chrons and got the drops that the large pumpkins drop . . . don't know if the screeny that is displayed is real or doctored but it looked funny.

Wetzel, an official response on the dice not working came the same day as it was reported. We were told they were unintentionally disabled and they'd flip the switch back with the next maintenance.
For everyone who is up in arms about they fixing dice before doing bug-fixes...you realize it likely consisted of changing a single digit in a single line of code that they didn't have to search for more than a few seconds to locate, right? I really doubt it took major resources away from important projects, it probably took me longer to type this post than fixing the problem required.

There is a message linked to using the dice that now pops up telling you you can't use them anymore but selling works. So there was way more involved than a single digit.
Typing in that message takes longer than fixing spoil (supposedly). So how does that compare?
At the moment NC NA is a *censored* of *censored* *beep* *bleeeep* that is not, even in the slightest way, catering to the needs of it's customers. With that stupid bug the need is pretty extreme, too.

PS: Oh and dice still don't work, I think. Good job - not.

[/ QUOTE ] Pure conjecture. The problem appears to be that getting stacks causes a critical error with the engine--that means that anywhere between the packet the server sends to the final step with the graphics engine could be the problem...and everything in between, which is practically everything.
A simple problem does not in any way imply a simple process to solve it.

[/ QUOTE ] Sorry, but no. That message was included because, when the entire C4 text was translated by a group not related to the bug-fixers, they translated it also. In the Korean version, dice were disabled, so the disabled-text was already there and in English before it ever got to us.
What did happen is that, when they were doing the equivalent of checking a box to turn off NPC's selling dice, they also turned off the dice themselves. Change one mark, the dice are back on, and the disabled-message doesn't appear. It's a trivial change, while tracking down a crash bug can quickly become a huge project.
You're right--it doesn't compare. We're comparing apples to small planets. :p
