Well, I enjoy listening to music while grinding, and I figured if NCsoft would work with MSN to integrate MSN Messenger, why not also integrate Windows Media Player or Winamp? It would just be a nice feature, when I played WoW, it was a favorite game add-on of mine.

No. The game is bloated enough as it is and the integrated MSN causes problems.

That would be awesome.. nice idea there.. just think you wouldn't have to listen to the same old music done by the game... you can just drag in your favorite music and listen to it while killing things..

Meh, it would be mildly interesting, but to be perfectly honest I'm not sure I would care. I leave WinAmp running anyway.

I like the music =(
(or Listen to music on my mac ;) )
Or might I suggest this (http://www.everythingusb.com/logitech_g15_gaming_keyboard.html)? Looks to me to have the ability to scroll through mp3's from a mp3 player running in the background.

That's a really nice keyboard, but my broke-*** college student wallet hurts just looking at it. I also really like the ingame music, but it isn't constantly playing, and it does get repetitive considering the amount of hours most players log into the game. I still like to think that it would be nice to manipulate a playlist ingame, and also because I like to view my track info while I listen to music. Currently, I have to minimize L2 to look at my player, which costs a lot of time, and its something that is always risky to do while grinding.

Try playing in windowed mode.

Well, excuse the stupid noob, but where is that feature? I would have done that if I had known about it. Does it slow down gameplay to keep it in windowed mode?

[Alt]+[Enter]. I haven't had any performance problems and I run solely in windowed mode (with 2 clients).

Yup yup, alt+Enter for windowed mode, you can resize the window as much as you like and it does not hinder gameplay as far as I can tell. Makes it much easier to do other stuff at the same time.
I got music turned off in L2, winamp playing on the background since the game musics are boring and after a while start to piss me off :)

hehe i had problems in windows mode, click on edge of screen (the resizing part) and keep mouse button held on reducing windowed l2's length to 1 inch across IRL (i think i remember this crashing l2 too) >.<
