Nice drops but keep your eyes peeled. I saw the farmers rolling out a LOT of spellhowlers and I think they're gunning for antharas in the near future. The clump that ran past me was so thick all I saw were the staves.

yea i got lot of pics of him again, but we did antharas before so i wont post em-
he still looks same etc, hes a bit harder than in c4, maybe his AI is better, was a tough fight, but we killed him in the end.
gj to my archer pty and everyone else that attended., especially ethore, zedek, ber, ambersky, modestia.
hope he drops draconic bow next time >.<

The raid was very fun. Antharas is definitely tougher than he was in C3, but still very doable. I don't remember the exact time but I think it took around 2 and a half hours to down him.

Its also important to note that laughter is healthy in the bedroom. What you want to avoid is laughter and pointing.

I thought we were getting the up to date C4, Guess not.
I wonder what he's like if u cant slow/cripple him.
GL selling a Demon Splinter, has to be the only weapon that so little have masteries for on server. Well maybe that and an Angel Slayer which I think is S-grade 2-handed sword.

There are certainly better, safer ways to raid Anthras than the slow/kite technique. The issue is everyone needs to be 100% focused for the duration of the fight and time attacks. One person screws up and you're done.
There is also the berzerked strider technique I haven't seen used. Keep strider out until you get aggro, mount, kite.

Only problem with S grade atm is lack of lvl9 WSs to craft shots for it. I know cherelle is tho, and so is josie. There are 4 I think that are around.. cant remember the last two names. Probably more that I dont know of.
Grats on the raid though! Cant wait till we get to try him in C4 :)

Lets try :
Soul/Spirit shot availability
Soul/Spirit shot price
lack of lvl 13 soul crystals
expense of S grade SA
overall lack of availability of armor set components
lack of numerous lvl 76 demand
Not many people are looking and going OMG I need I need I need. Another few weeks will continue to shuffle people up to the appropriate levels and demand will slowly increase. But yes, atm there are a lot of reasons why S grade isn't in high demand. Then again, there aren't really many of these items on the server, so prices are still high ^^.

While some people are having success with lvling crystals, I am not sure of the mechanics of the lvl 13s. I am actually finding people in different parties that are leveling crystals. To top it off, the lag was really severe, so I did not attempt to get only one party on him at the very end. When I come to understand the system better I will do so, until then, not yet :p

we did not give 1 nuker pty the crystalsand let every1 stop to let em finish the dragon off lol, but im pretty sure it is possible to lvl 12 to 13, from antharas.
i think its also possible from baium and valakas.

Uh oh, we all know what the farmers did with people raiding bosses. I got a bad feeling about this.

They do have tanks, overlords and other classes now. Also just think what the fire power of all those guys at or near level 78. They're not just gonna blow your socks off. A knick at your toes will blow you clear across Aden. Also somewhere was a post about 40 people taking down Antharas but I highly doubt this.

it needs more than just nukers, farmers cant do it, at least not yet.
and it needs more than 10 persons controlling 50 lvl 75 SHs.
they actually need to be playing ~.~ antharas' aoe dmg was randomish sometimes, it can wipe out all nukers at once.

40 people could easily take down anthras. One archer party and 3 SH nuker parties with outside buffs. Actually it would be EASIER if that was all that came to the raid. To be honest, one player controlling 10 nukers would again, make it easier. That's only a few voices on TS to perfectly communicate for the raid. The only trouble would come in the archer group. The entire archer pt needs to be played. But yes, 6 SR, prophet, sws, bd. 21 lvl 75+ SH 3 bd 3 se and an overlord.
I'd estimate...3 hrs.
