Fishing skills, reeling and pumping...

I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug.

on several instances there has been an issue where if the skill is attempted to be used right before the timer for reuse is up, the timer is restarted and the skill is not used... it only occurs when the button is pressed just before or as the reuse time is up.

It's likely that the skill was used but the fish resisted your pump or reel, they can and will do that from time to time. It says it in your system messages.

I've noticed this same thing but never noticed anything in the system messages. Will have to pay special attention to that the next time I try it.

Lilanya is right, sometimes when you use pump or reel, it does nothing, but you still have to wait for the skill to recharge. The system message window will say
"Fish has resisted." Happens to me all the time, its completely normal.
