Radeon 1900 XTX

The card is simply AWESOME but it has a problem with L2. It wont allow the game to run when the CLI.exe is running. Thats is the catalsyt software for it. They only way I could get L2 to run is uninstall and leave base drivers on the machine. However it leaves the color control for the card way off. Anyone else have a 190XTX with this problem or working correctly?

Are you getting the "failed to delay load mscorlib.dll(win32 error:998)" error message?

X1900XTX in one rig is working flawlessly..... both .net 1.1 and .net 2.0 are loaded...

my crossfire x1900x2 rig also is spitting out one hell of a nice resolution (2560x1600x32) with every option maxed including shadows and reflections.... HDR mode 3.... looks utterly amazing..

can you provide more system details?

I had the same problem. I found the solution on the knowledge base searching for "error." In short, make sure you have the most current video driver & DirectX and then...

"Before executing Lineage II, please use the msconfig utility, to close all non-Microsoft programs that may be running. To do this go to Start>Run, type "msconfig" (without quotes) and click OK. Click on Selective Startup, uncheck Load Startup Items, then go to the Services tab. Click Hide All Microsoft Services then uncheck all the ones you see. Click OK and restart."

You can install driver in Control Panel mode - without Control Center
To do it, download 1st and 3rd archvies of catalyst driver download (in second, partial download - for low speed). It works fine this way.
The bug was confirmed for 5.11 Catalyst driver and still in place... Fortunately, workaround allows us to play (yet)

Thanks Guys ill try all of those suggestions out, i have been away for a bit so just got to your posts. I run it now with out the Catalyst app runnin and the colors are [censored] without it and way to bright (atleaset on the dell 24' widescreen they are.) Thanks guys preesh a bunch!!!
