Hi Guys, did all boxes changed in C4 ? In C3 i could use unlock skill on them and ive got few materials and some amount of money ,and sometimes blades too.Now when i use it i got only small amount of money and no materials and anything at all.Is that skill just useless now ? And its same to unlock box with skill as with blessed keys ?

Treasure Boxes are a game of luck now. You invest your Keys on the (very rare) chance to get a lucky drop from it. I have heard of people, who got enchant weapon scrolls from Treasure Boxes. Personally I only ever get less adena than the keys did cost, so I stopped buying keys as it is not worth it IMHO.
Treasure Chests are always Mimics, I guess you knew that.

BTW they changed it - they are all called "chests" now, no more "boxes" (guess it really was a bug that they had different names). So now the problem is no longer only that you might get a bad drop, you also have to get lucky enough to not get a mimic when you try to open a chest.

Ahh, cool. So we are back at the state, where only cheaters can tell a mimic from a chest. Very nice.
I guess this will only mean, that I will not use Key of Thieves on my Assassin ever again, as the costs are about 10x the regular outcome.

I never understood this - even if you could unlock chests for profit, the skill cools down so slowly that it could not be exploited excessively. It's a real wasted opportunity for some fun and a good addition for the dagger class on NCSoft's part.

I don't know about C4, but opening chests in c3 was fun as crap ^.^ I used to kinda farm boxes with my AW + silent move in hostile places and I got some nice swag from lvl 20-55 =) Hehe, havent tryed is as of late caus he's kinda got 40k Karma ^.^ My best drops were like 10-20 bone +20k adena and various blades and an entire falcion at lv 23 XD

They tend to drop Enchant Armor and Weapon scrolls at a fairly decent rate. On the PTS (with x10 drops), I got EAD and EWD probably 85-90% of the time.

the rate is 1/200 or more. So its not all that decent.
I wouldn't mind them getting rid of them all togeather. They are just poitless to have around. My alt was getting 4 or so keys a lvl in EG, and each time he opened a chest it was like 600 adena.
I'd really love it if they actually made chests hard to find. I guess they would have to make it so you cant target them remotely. Just make them out of the way and out of sight. The idea of having treasure chests just sitting out in the open all over the place is ...well, stupid.
Maybe have them teleport often. But do something to make it so the chest is a rare TREASURE. And I put emphasis on treasure because ATM they are anything but.

They're especially "funny" when using AOE or AOE Spoil :( All of a sudden you'll have several mimics on you :(

Hmmm. I just reached lvl 20 on my orc and was in AC. I saw plenty of "box" and "chest". It's not all chests. It's just that everytime you attack a box it dissapears, and when you attack a chest it attacks back. But they still exist.
