anyone else completely forgotten the meaning of the word cheap?
looking through giran today heres some of the bargains i found
SOM 105 million
tallum robe top 9 million
GSS 10a
+4 C grade bow 35 million
+3 AOBA/health 60 million
there was only 1 shop in the whole of giran that had cheap in the title and wasnt a rip off....
it wasnt cheap, it was reasonable
Cheap in private shop titles = Grossly overpriced and hope some naive fool buys it.

I avoid stores advertising cheap or best price - those that are actually cheap or have the best price generally advertise the price directly.
What's GSS?
Blank: If you're not referring to another post, let me point out the meaning of that sentence: "All these stores would have been rip-offs even if they didn't advertise themselves as cheap, as they are grossly overpriced. The only store carrying 'cheap' goods I found that wasn't a complete rip-off by all standards still was not cheap."

I know, I was being a pain.
Compared to the others, it was cheap.
And I will give out my best kept secret.
The best prices are often the stores that dont have a title at all.
So what if its not a great best kept secret. :p

Yah, I'm kinda tired of that shop title myself. I usually never look, unless they mention what item is "cheap" in the title, too. But most of the time, I just assume it's overpriced crap.
I usually look in all stores. You just never know what's in them. Now is the time to sell things for more then they're worth. I have done it and so has just about everyone else.

Not to mention that when it says "Look Me" or some other dumb thing in shop titles, the /findprivatestore doesnt work :(
Maybe ncsoft will make it so /find looks at what is IN the shop not the title :) and while at it give us abbreviations like /fps :eek:

+4 C grade is like 20m max...
SOM clean goes for 60m here too...ouch scams or I am not really on the ebay-R-us server.
But yeah, only time I ever look around shops is to find one of each key mat I need to craft something. Recently bought one grossly overpriced SOES head, but since I will be crafting two it is ok. Otherwise, my shop is buying things while I sleep, while I eat, while I do anything but play L2. :P

oh and BTW
i bought lvl 10 green for 500k and resold in 1/2 hr for 1.5mil boy was i happy :D

u have to look in evry shop , cuz 90% dont have inside what offered .. and thats prolly all shopbots cuz it refill after sellout with other things... and a real player usually dont have 90 som recipe/ 980 cd blades /+++ ;)
i remember when i started , things like emg was like 300k and that wasnt really cheap, brig helmet 500K ? **** epensive .. poor noobies who start this game with that crappy economy ,lol
but evry 2nd shop now have "CHEAP" included...
just seen cheap cbp in giran .. 20k only ,lol

i got a pretty good hang of the market all those things listed are just overpriced, except maybe the som. i wouldnt pay that much but they are pretty rare now so i'd guess someone would

Hehe i got 160+ SOPs for 2.2k each and 2 maingauche for 160k each from some farmer sellers whom priced them wrongly and i was happy too :D
Everything are overpriced now, except for the low b weapon that no one wants (e.g heavy war axe, great axe). WTS great axe on kain :p

I also hate "Look Me". Especially when you are looking for something, you know that that particular store is not going to have it but you need to look anyway on the off chance they WILL have it.

"Look me" and "Chep" are my favorites. The lack of English in those stores tell me all I need to know and I steer clear. ;)

But I found also some pretty cheap thingies in shops with unchanged titles ... Demon bottom for 350k, Nirvana axe for 5.5mil and so.
