+3 SOM Dropped in Dion Siege [Archive]

LAG LAG LAG, I went red because of lag. LOL

A little dwarf in sub-class went red at the Dion siege. Silly dwarf dropped a SOM when dropped by the defenders and blamed it on lag.
All I can say is YOU DISERVE IT. Hope you never get it back!!
Maybe if you were nice for a change would have got it back.

It kinna sounded to me you were crying for it in the battlefield. But I guess you later realized that your "friends" <--- that don't speak much english~~~ can get you a new one, the same way you got your sub-class.

& The guys who helped me with ToI raids (Arie, g4briel, etc...)

I was the one getting mad because to me get something that is not yours is lame and if the person you get the item from did something bad to you in the past well it doesn't matter you have to do the same or you are just as low.
If someone goes red on me and drops something, sorry but i would give back.
One thing is pvp/pk and fun, another one is going crazy crafting weapons and armors.

Now, LCN has no problems replacing his weap, good for him, i would have cried to be honest; might be that i'm poor so i see things differently :D

If you wanna go ahead and flame, i don't really care, but you should agree with me that getting a sword of miracles*acumen from a "bad" person doesn't make you any better. To me you're just as bad.

By the way i like LCN too, he's funny as hell :p

You may have never gotten any benefits from being tagged with LS/RR (who cares they are all the same). Unfortunatly no one cares whether you did or not.

Raid farmers are bad for the server. You joined them. People are going to hold that against you, since it was one of the dumbest things I have seen someone do in this game.

You are not legit for this reason alone.

If a farmer drops something from a train, I keep it. I accept it as a donation to my clan, for all of the bull that farmers put us through.

I know you're not a lawyer Kut, but there's a huge difference between evidence and the presumption of innocence. What you suggest, if properly handled by the police, would be evidence used for the conviction of the individual. Yet, just because the police catch someone "red handed" does not mean that the presumption of innocence does not apply. It's a legal term to define the blank slate of the juror's mind when entering the court room for the first time. Even in cases such as you suggest above the jury will be fully instructed on what the presumption of innocence means, and the burden of proof required by the law will be no less stringent. So it is incorrect to say that in such an example the presumption of innocence doesn't apply, it does, fully, and it's not the police that hand down the conviction regardless of their own opinions as to the persons innocence.

As far as LCN goes, I call LCN a friend even if I don't personally approve of LS/RR and other raid boss farmers, botters, etc... collective behaviour. You might have to like everything about a person to be their friend, but I can look beyond that.

We use what is at hand to make decisions on people. My point was, if the person is found in that situation, they would be arrested and tried. A lot like finding someone who has been known to be stoop as low as joining a farmer clan hanging out afk by a farmer group that is exping. Now since the court of public opinion is the only one we have here, I think the OP and my opinions are warranted.

I dont need to like everything about someone to be their friend. Could you please quote where I said that so I can remember to watch myself better next time.

There are some things I choose to not look past. One of them is joining a raid boss farmer clan that makes this game that we all play for enjoyment, less enjoyable for the rest of the population on the server.

I guess we just have different standards we hold our "friends" to.

Looking at the Judcial system in the United States, hell around the world for that matter, when someone is accused of something, don't tell me that they are 'innocent until proven guilty'... Human nature dictates in these sittuations, and pretty much essentially everyone is guilty until proven otherwise...

This is the court of public opinion not a court of law. NCSoft has to assume he is innocent until they can prove otherwise, we do not.

/agree Beer. I don't even own a +3 SoM, and I'm not on subclass yet, so there's lots of reasons to be envious of LCN. Besides most of the Dwarves, real dwarves, played by real players, on this server are my friends, regardless of their individual affiliations. We Dwarves have to stick together, because no one else will give us any respect in either the PVE or PVP world. I realized pretty quickly at the last Gludio siege that Dwarves don't have any pvp skills.

Anyways, I'm greatful for my dwarf friends, LCN, Tarasa, Tickle, Beer, Bigs and others who main dwarves. Luv you all. But especially my Plunder *giggles*

He is just a spoiled guy that if he does not get his way he will make sure to show his love.
As an example, one time he dropped a healer because the healer had to leave the party and he was not going to exp because of that.

Spoiled little brat says he does not care about the SOM and now he says he is pvping for it. Just go back to school so that ppl can really beat on you. Oh wait, you don't do that, it is safer to stay behind the screen all day :D

Maybe dwarfs are not good at pvp but theyr'e useful in sieges ----> siege golems ok?

By the way, and last time i repeat it, Lcn isn't pvping for the sword, it was mugi and i getting mad for Desalv0r attitude and starting to pk Requiem members.
Lcn of course got into the fight because clannies are involved.

Now we are at war and happy (at least we are... ;))

No worries, wasn't really complaining, just making a statement about the lack of love for Warsmiths... We all love each other, but hey can't convince everyone... Yup WS is good for siege golems and hog cannons, and most clans need at least one good WS to craft stuff for them, but as far as pvp skills, WS's need help. No biggie, I love being me, and love being a dwarf.

well not sure if some of you know who I am I never rally like to talk on these things cause anything you say could be turned around and be used against you.

But anywho I am boooya part of the federation clan. now please after reading this go back through and re-read this thread lol please it is very funny.

The subject goes from talking about the SOM drop to hating LCN or loving him (people here have different takes on him). to talking about his connections to ls/rr. Then somewhere between pages 4-6 I do believe he is not even mentioned then reappears.

I am not taking any sides on this matter becuase frankly it does not concern me and hence i have no idea why I am posting a reply but I say we stop this thread its gotten totally off subject and frankly how long can we talk about this sword. It dropped what 3 weeks ago or abouts??

Yeah and you guys c'mon lets not bring law terms into this forums I got a headache from reading it but maybe thats becuase I never understood those law terms. Anyway yeah LCN I believe the fate of the servers rests on your shoulders lol j/k of course but a lot of people hold you up and others would like to see you fall.

yeah i just looked at what was first posted....did you really blame going red on lag? If you are I was thier and even if you were lagged you still meant to do what you did. you were way off the seige field I was thier and seen it. I am not saying you shuld or shouldn't have went red its not my place to say what you should or shouldn't do :p . But don't blame it on lag.
