Hello there! I am an artist in college and looking to transfer to another art school to major in concept art and illustration. I've done tons of research but can't find any "hot spot" schools, so to speak, or places that developers like to hire from most. Does anyone have any insider information on the job or what colleges to attend?

I am a recently graduated graphic designer (University of Texas at Arlington www.uta.edu (http://www.uta.edu)) from a university that's got a pretty good graphic design program. Although UTA's got a great graphic design program, it's really geared toward the creative side of design, mostly print design.

It sounds like you're looking for something a bit different, so I suggest the Art Institute of Dallas. I know a lot of area employers hire from "institute" schools.

However UTA graphic design students have recently earned many awards for their work and employers in the DFW area are realizing what great people the school is turning out.
