Was hoping maybe russianmofia would post how they got can lvl 3 already. Our can thought about farming in cats for aa for the SP scrolls, but even then you run short on money. Guys mind helping out other clans with info.....
And grats on vl 3 already, large accomplishment there.

I know thats why i am so impressed, not to mention lvl 2 takes 2mil adena. Sounds like the rumars about mofia are right, highly organized crime ;). If ya dont believe me, just look in your clan community, lvl three can is russianmofia led by batman. There is also a lvl 2 can as well, dont recall name, i was mostly impressed by lvl 3.....

Batman is def a bot. Lol busted his hella alot right in the early stages cause its easy to keep up with botters.

Clan Leadership Transfer
A clan leader may transfer their rights to other clan members. The leader must request the clan leader transfer from an NPC who is in charge of clan activities. The new clan leader will assume their new role during the next regularly scheduled maintenance time. (The clan leader transfer should still be completed even when the server is down unexpectedly.) A clan leader transfer may be cancelled anytime prior to the regular maintenance time.

If I am correct the 2nd Clan was OGD? There are Rumors going over the server that both these clans are allieds with eachother. That is 1 fast strong ally ftw.

Actually I believe they're level 2. Those clans show up on the community-thing too now.
EDIT: I just logged in. They did show up at level 2, but are, infact, level 3 now o.O
Furthermore, OGD and Russianmaffia are from one of the biggest alliances on Teon, Syndicate.

Well, they were quite a large and organised alliance on Teon. Probably about 200+ people. If all of them are contributing money and they switched leadership a couple of time for the sp, it should be doable.

Well.... Im confused here. According to the write up about changing clan leaders it will only be done during regular scheduled maintenance periods. Being that Franz has only been up for 4 days, there hasnt been a maintenance period yet. Also, I dont see or I dont understand how you can transfer sp doing this. Dunno, maybe I missed some write up somewhere, but I still dont see how it is possible to become lvl 3 clan in 4DAYS. Moneywise, yes, sp wise...no.

It was not able to be done 2 years ago, but with the knowledge that most people have coming on this server now very do able.

the leader of RussianMaffias or w/e the name is, is "batman" we've seen him bot around EG several times... i saw him botting at lower lvl places aswell.. he just botted his way to high lvl and high lvl clan..
i saw him too :) tried to talk to him once, just went on wacking and wacking

you cant farm aa / seal stones from teh catas, the event isnt in full swing. you can however enter teh catas..
my clan is lvl 2 tonite, i understand if they got all their DE's to hand in the 100k Q into the leader to make up the fee but it still doesnt fully explain how they are near all in d grd armor and soul shotting everything without care..
sp wise yes, there is a quest for 42k sp (repeatable)

RM and OGD are allied yes, and they were the first and only 2 clans lvl 3 on the server, with d grade spamming shots but theyre 100% legit apparently (yea right) lets see its what? ~3m for lvl 0-3 + all the SP, so for 2 clans lvl 3 in the same ally thats double...assuming they pooled the cash for the clan lvls and batman did the sp quest a few times, that doesnt leave them much if any cash to spam shots with d grade armor.
now if you look at the majority of people who have done the 100k DE quest 42k elven quest and 98k gludin quest they still can barely afford d grade armor so how can they legitimately do all those quests to pool cash for clan lvl 3 twice and buy d grade armor and enough shots for the majority to spam them when grinding?
that would be more relevant if people hadnt seen them botting though ^^

Well, I can't really explain the sp part. But if you have a 200+ people alliance and everyone donates 30k (which isn't too bad) that's 2 level 3 clans already, money wise.
I wouldn't know if they bot though (though it is likely).

they dont have 200 ^^ they have ~50-60 from what iv seen
but thats still doesnt explain how they got most of the members in d grade with enough cash to spam shots after donating ~100k each, when people who havent donated a penny towards a clan cant do it
all within 3 days (server came up wednesday evening, they were lvl 3 by saturday morning)

Note that the leadership switching part is false (only happens every maintainance), as was pointed out earlier in this thread.

not sure i understand what u meant in the last post but they had ~200 people on teon but that was in ~10 clans, on franz they have 2 clans and ~50-60 people...so yea if u have 200 + people alliance donating its doable....but they dont

Eh? I meant to say that the people from this alliance that ARE on Franz but AREN'T in the clan, because there's no space for them yet, are contributing. I don't know this for a fact, but it seems very possible to me.
Also, I experienced today that it is infact humanly possible to make a level 2 clan in 3-5 days. My clan leader has been farming the 42k sp quest pretty much 24/7. (He doesn't see too much sunlight ;p) Clan's Evolutia btw, we'll be lvl 3 soon.

Well if you believe they bot report them. If not then let them continue but I must admit is rather suspicious to get to clan 3 as fast as they did. However, gl with live GM's, never any on when I look, but that would make no difference as I understand HGMSpam on L2 radio interview, it takes about a week to remove bots. Nice, 1 week of getting money/sp for the "clan"!! DOH
Dont get me wrong here, I have played since beta and I was "optimistic" this server would be played fairly...gad I hate being an optimist..lol
the clan part is one thing, them also in D grade is rather odd... or even neigh impossible

Also, only a part of syndicate moved to franz, the majority remains on teon

one clan has been banned of RussianMafia (Syndicate alliance) - the reason given by the clan ppls was that NCsoft said the reason was the leader hit clan lvl3

I never said they weren't botting or any other form of cheating. I only listed some possible scenarios in which it can infact be possible to reach level 3 in such a short amount of time. I don't, and never have, claim to have all the facts.

The reason that you don't see anyone listed when you type in /gmlist is because that feature has been dead and gone since C3...the GM's now monitor out of game from what I understand to keep bots from logging off as soon as /gmlist comes up with something....
That said you'd think that bots would also realize this after 2 chronicles....as far as the 1 week to ban, I have decided (arbitrarily) that the reason for this is to see if the community continues to report them.
I reported several bot trains that ran almost 24/7 for years...and nothing ever happened to them...but since the trains didn't really bother me I only reported them once in a blue moon.
On the other hand the bots that are dumb enough to spoil and ks me I reported every single day...sometimes 2-3 times a day...and *poof* after 4-5 days they were no more.
As with all things the bot issue is best solved with a "the squeeky wheel gets the grease" theory it would seem.
I was also rather shocked to see two clans to lvl 3 already...not just because of the simple fact that it's not really possible without a bot program, but because if you belonged to a clan that had decided bot that much why would you be so stupid as to advertise it so blatently.
You think you'd be better to leave the tags and titles off at the very least....

bot ur clan lvl 3, change leader quick (prolly gets banned) and stay with ur NOW LEGAL lvl 3 clan ...
(like the russian just did)
imo they simply should remove those clans and the AF'd exp/sp is gone ...

But I have to tell you, I started reporting bots from day 1 and I have seen some action. Not sure if they leveled past where I go or they actually got banned but for me atm, the server is great fun again! Only NCSoft can make it bad again :)

Well for Evolutia it took us on the 5th day to get to lvl 3 but if you want to know a big secret of how, well insomnia is a huge factor haha :).

I know for sure that everytime I've wandered past Batman, and said hello (something I do to everyone) he's replied immediately...and not with a canned bot kind of reponse.
I play some insaneo stupid hours myself, and assuming that 30 members each gave you 100k or so (which is certainly not an outrageous amount even for 2-3 days into the grind) the cash wouldn't be all that difficult, the SP would be tough that quick...even with the SP quest....but again, not impossible, assuming you sucked back plenty of red bull and didn't do much else.
All that aside, nothing says "Hey! Look at me! I'm a bot!" like trying to run up a wall for 20 minutes, and that is something that I have seen members of RM doing.
I don't have anything against them (yet) and assuming we don't see another Lionna/Teon Syndicate coming to power I probably won't....the fact remains that even if Batman doesn't cheat some of his clan does, but the same could probably be said of most guilds in one form or another.
