I've heard a few things about this game, mostly bad things. But i thought I'd give it a go. I like it so far. A lot of bots it seems, and the price for equipment seems kinda crazy/I don't get it. But other than that it's fun.
Basically what this post is for is to ask for some help, to find some people in game that I can team with/learn the game with. Maybe join a guild. I'm currently on day 3 or 4 of a 14 day trial and am still debating whether or not I want to play this game or not. I'm playing a dark elf assassin, who is currently level 22. I preffer playing with people who have a sense of humor and are mature.
I've been playing City of Heroes for the past two years and I'm itching for a change. I was in a PvP oriented SG (guild) over there and am interested to learn about PvP here. I have both vent and TS. So...if anyone would like to help me either reply here or find me in game: BeautifulRuin

Welcome to L2 Ruin.
The last MMO I played for any lenght of time was also CoH, however I've been corrupted by L2 and now I see no way of going back to CoH or any other MMOPRG it seems (I have 8 inactive accounts with other MMORPG's :p ).
I don't have a Guild, but if I can find you, I have a tank slightly higher level than you, so I'll try and look for you ingame.

Coming from an mmo line CoH, Lineage 2 is more of a classic, more hardcore mmo. It will take a bit of getting used to but it really pays off, i'd recommend trying to get into some raid parties.

You got me started thinking about my Warshade again only other toon I really enjoined in that game :eek:
What?! Warshades are crap. Though they do look awefully fun for PvE. I had one up to level 14 or so before i deleted it. I haven't seen anyone use them in PvP with much success.

Welcome, I am a 2 year CoH veteran and played a lot of other MMOs, this game is unique and lots of fun, I have not really experienced the higher end stuff, but what I have played has been a blast, PM Gerimai and I can give you some tips, and help you out some.
