That's really simple.
Some people hate glow on weapons (like me) so give us option to disable it.
Some people really love the glow on weapons so give them option to disable it and they will not use it anyway.
Everyone will be happy.
Anyone else agrees with my opinion?

I'll agree if we can turn off the hero glow too.
They're supposed to fix heroes today :(

I always thought the Hero-glow gets annoying after some time, and even some heroes suggested to put the glow effect to an optionable feature.
Personally I love the normal glows, and not the hero glows. Still this would be a good add.
I agree with both, weapon glow on/off, hero glow on/off.

You can just pretend that I see it (like hero chat) :p
I dont care about hero chat at all. I want just my glow, hmm, and the money :P. What is the point of beeing hero if you dont see that I am hero -.-

Means 'looks tampered with' (except on all dark elves higher level than me who would feel miffed at such a comment).
In either case, I think I made the point.
If you start allowing client side modifications of how the game world looks beyond the obviosly necessary quality settings, we won't all be looking at the same Aden anymore - and that'd be a shame.
