Newb question, yes. But where do you buy tickets for the boats? And how much do they cost? Most importantly the Talking Island one.

On the docks there is a dwarven male, he will sell the tickets for like 2,500a I believe, may be 3,000. Not 100% sure onthe price, just look around the docks and you'll see him.

They are called Wharf Managers in the Harbors... not always dwarves, but they are always at the harbors. Talk to them.
