When I first got the game I spent some time trying to figure out which character I would enjoy playing the most, and after a few hours of looking I decided I want to go swordsinger. But after reading the forums even more it seems that they may end up being a little on the boring side. The last thing I want is getting a high level and then basically hitting a wall with him, not being able to do anything on my own if I wanted. ( happened in WoW when I was Holy Spec ) I was thinking of either swithing to plainstalker, necro, or just sticking with it and playing a swordsinger. I was hoping to get some responses to what others think based on ability to solo / ability to help in pvp. thanks :)
Also: What do you all belive is the best character pvp wise.

The best char for pvp is the one that can play in group pvp. SWS is a very good choice then.
Face it, not a single class can pvp without proper buffing.

if you wanna pawn, then sws is definitely a mistake.
with other dd's in group - especially dagger/archer - the swordsinger shines in pvp
pve-wise: sws as a first character is a bad choice unless you go a couple of friends to level with. If you like the songs thing , then i suggest blade dancer - it levels easier than sws

I have about 4 other friends who play together and pvp also with their clan, so id say half of the time i will be in a group and the other half will be soloing. My main preference is to help others, so thats why at first i liked him. I just hit 17 and leveling is begining to get slower so thats why i was wanting to make sure i made the right choice. I just dont want the game to get boring.

The game not getting boring is all about attitude, how social you want to be and how intense you play.If you are lucky enough to be sometimes in a parties and some times solo then enjoy this, and look for quests you can do when soloing to make ya money. I would agree that not one single character is good at pvp/pve and dd without support.Never be in a rush to get to a certain lvl, all stages of your character are important.
