View Full Version : Quick Soulshot Question

Hey folks, so I just started playing this today. I keep getting all these quest rewards of soulshots and such, but I don't honestly know how to use them. I thought they acted like a reagent for certain abilities or something, but that's purely a guess.
I'm playing a Glad at the moment if that matters... I sort of assume not.

make sure u put them in ur hot bar, and R-click on them to auto-use.

Hey we used to not have auto use, people whent through keyboards like you wouldn't believe.

My F11 still mixes things up from time to time after the abuse of C1/C2.

Somebody just happened to come through Orc Village when I was at lvl 17 on my first character and tell me what soulshots were for.

Never knew what sps was or even used/had them till my 2nd char (my main) was 19. Hell, I never saw anyone I partied with on TI ever use them either. :eek:

Well my SE was 30 something by the time she heard about automatic shots.

Me: Urgh, my middle finger hurts.
Clannie: Put your soulshots on F4, that's a lot easier on the hands.
I was tempted to buy a Dippy Bird and feed if caffine. That would have saved many keyboards from losing their F2 keys.

hahaha same here. I saw some in the shop and bought ONE. I tried to use it and it didnt work, so I assumed it was broken and threw it on the ground.

I found out fairly early on what "shots" were. Back in C1 on my first character.
Another player was using them in DEV and I asked them how to make my weapon "light up" the way his did when he was attacking mobs.
Notice that all I wanted them for was the glow. It's amazing how much we chase glowing, bright shiny objects in this game. We've all been reduced to Smeagols.
Anyway...
I knew nothing about the damage or speed increases that comes with using shots. The player explained everything to me before giving me about 25 of each. Just enough to get a taste.
It was more than enough. I was hooked and have been spamming shots ever since.
Remember, kids, say "No" to soulshots and soulshot pushers. :)
