Thinking of starting my first character here...

I see this server is the newest and Im considering starting a character here but I have a few questions:
1.Does the majority speak english?(I can speak alot of languages like german and french but I prefer English)
2.Is this server friendly against newbies or is it more like "[censored] NOOBZ OMGLMAONADE"
3.Is there any clan recruiting new players?

Yes, this is the newest server. Is this your first char or are you coming from another server?

I would say that most people can at least type in english. It is fairly common to see a few people speaking another language, but most shouts are in english.

As far as I know, it is fairly friendly to newbies. It has been a little while since I was low lvl. When I play on my alt, people are generally nice.

There are a few posts on here about clans recruiting. The clan that I help lead (Eximius) is one of those that is recruiting. Getting into an academy is usually good to do as early as possible, especially if you are a true newbie and have alot of questions.

You really shouldnt start on this server. Read opinions about franz on other boards first than think again. Its mostly russian server, full of cheaters (3rd party program users etc). Its bad in general.

I would suggest you chosing hindemith. It has much more friendly and active community and not so many botters as franz. And really most of ppl speak english on it. Its very international server not like franz (euro mostly) and on hinde a lot of clans is recruiting new players so you should be fine :) Hindemith ppl are also biggest forum spammers! Look at post count :)

Hmmm, I disagree with the guy posted above. Sure here is some cheating and bots. But all servers have that, if not they already had it an adena is flowing on ebay.

I am the leader of a stong upcoming clan called Sanctuary. Our clan-chat language is english only. We are soon a lvl 6 clan and aiming to be one of the greatest on the servers.

Yes there is many russian here (why does it have to be a bad thing?). But if u dont like em I can tell you we have 1 russian member and he is one of the best members we have. :D

Less bots on hinde? Number wise probably, but I bet the percent of players to bots is about the same. Saying your server is relatively clean of bots is just laughable.

There are alot of Russians on franz. So what? Most people speak english.

I dont wanna sound racist but I have bad expriences with russians and Ive made a char in the newbie zone as human and wow O_O so many bots...why doesnt NCsoft ban them?

lol thats possible only on franz. try making char on hinde and check :P There is not even single bot in newbie zones (except few dwarves deleveling in village)

EVERY server suffers from the same problems. You might not see the bots immediately on some servers but that doesnt mean they aren't as many on that server.

The choice is yours. Find a server you like and have fun.

Russians ae everywhere and they all use bot programs... a bit insane really. It's been like that since server start.
be picky about this Euro server, it's newer, but that almost don't matter.
If yer coming, make sure you have friends here like you, or you will have a miserable time, lol.
