Hey all!
I'm contemplating between QR and CS for my Hell Hound. From what I heard, CS works for the skills, which sounds pretty nifty (temptation and traps always seem to drain my MP >.<), but I'm wondering about QR.
Does it have a noticable effect on the fire rate at all, what with the delay basically being equal to the fire speed anyway? Or does it work on skills, too?
Would love to hear from people who have tried either. :p

BoP conversion weapon.
I'm still not sure what SA I want though - if I can't hear anything good about QR or CS I might just go guidance, waste of money or not. >.<

all I know is that AB's don't require MP for basic fire, so no issues with ever running out of mp while XPing unless they use skills, which isn't really needed.
QR would allow you to send more bolts down range even faster then you already do. cause the red bar will reset at a faster rate (hence QR).
CS woiuld be helpful if you plan to use skills alot, like for pvp. I don't see CS being a widely used SA choose for AB's.
IDK how good AB's acc is, if your acc is low and you need to hit mobs better cause they evade you too much then deffently get guidance.

Does it mean i would fire 13% faster with Quick Recovery on my Hell Hound ? I thought it was only for re-use delay for skills so i choose Guidance, but if it adds +13% atack speed i would definitively go QR !

The red bar is already pretty much exactly equal to the fire rate, and making it reduce faster should therefore not result in more shots. I already know I can't even move a full step while still seeing the red bar. What I heard was that it might work for skills as well, and then it might be worthwhile.
And no, accuracy, for the most part, is a non-issue for Arbalesters.

I changed my Hell Hound acu for Hell Hound QR. Ill test it asap !

its not atk speed!
it reuse. the red bar that shows above your head when you fire a arrow (bolt).
yes QR does effect cool down on skills.
no Mel I'm not pulling crap out of my butt like you think I do. I newest to play a HE all the way up to 61 on live, and twice a sagg on PTS.
compair a very slow bow with a slow bow, then add QR to very slow, and slow bow, do the test with out the rapid fire skill on. Watch the (red) bar move, fire atlest 10 shots every time.
I can can see a vast difference with my PW when I use rapid shot when I use my soul bow. It fires off arrows faster, with out it I fire slowly.. it does add atk speed but not a hole lot. the problem for PW/SR with a bow is obviously MP. even with my augment having a increase to mp regen it don't help (my augment has passive evasion skill + =0.1 mp regen).

Not tested it myself but you can start firing the next arrow 13% (or whatever) earlier/faster with QR but the actual firing of the arrow won't be faster. The effect is more arrows per minute.

Matsu, crossbows and bows are essentially different.
Namely: Crossbows do not have longer reuse than it takes to fire the bolt.
Thus, making the red bar go faster won't have an impact on how many arrows/bolts you shoot. :p

I got my answer in PMs, will be putting QR on mine and running a test with a clean one for final confirmation.
