My clan doesn't have a fort nor a castle, which I understand is the places where u get bracelets & Talismans.
So any info about their prices and the possibility that a player can get them for me will be much appreciated
Your’s truly :)

A/g bracelet is: 1,118 Knight epualettes. uses 3 talisman slots.
B/g is: 480 Knight Ep's. uses 2 talisman slots.
C/g I think is 400 Knight Ep's. uses 1 talisman slot.
There isn't a S/g one that I know of (though if there is; it only obtainable inside the fortress dungeon.)
Talismans you can only get from a fortress, and are binded to your chr. So no trading!
It cost you 10 Knight ep's. per try, and a random reward.

Thnx for the quick reply :)
That means that if I gather enough Knight epualettes i can get someone to buy a bracelet for me? (small chance that 'll happening cause I’m not much into siege, or is there another way to obtain Knight epualettes?)
And even if I get a bracelet it is useless cause I can’t buy talismans, right?

Or ask if you could join some fortress owning clan for a day just to buy the bracelet and talismans.. Just remember the talismans are shadow items with a 60 minute duration.

You need to be in a clan with a fort to get talismans. Talismans are shadow items which means they can't be bought or sold. You trade 10 knight's epaulettes and get a RANDOM talisman and I think there are more than 20 different kinds.
Now I raised a question. If only 1 talisman can be active at a time then what is the advantage of having more slots in higher grade bracelets?

Having not used any of them yet , but I think just wearing them makes the skills be refreshed and ready to be used. And inability to use more than one means you cant open all skills (like plus cast plus matck together for example). I dont know what happens with passives ones though.

by having more slots would that not mean you have more choice between available skill.
It doesn't stop you deactivating the current talisman to use a different one attatched to the bracelet.

what's the point of owning a Bracelet w/o access to Castle/Fort NPC's for the talismans?

how do i get Knight epualettes ?
I don't know if anyone else has noticed... (am I the only one?) but you can get shadow versions from the jewellery trader in Giran.

I think those are nerfed versions of fortress ones.
I thought fortress ones wern't shadow, and that was the diferance between them and the ones you can buy from any merchant (which I saw reading this thread, isn't true, they are all shadow).... diferance must be the effect of town merchant ones is drastically lower than fortress ones?

Aden also has bracelets available. While not the full version, the slight enhancement you get (if it works) is quite useful.
Having said that, I last used them before Gracia. I don't know how its been changed, if at all.
For magic power it adds a bit (like 20 maybe) on a mattack. I mean the shadow from Giran.
Pdef is like 1, mdef is like 1 and shield defence is not noticeable. I guess paying 12k for limited +1 stat doesn't hurt really.. could make the difference between life and death in some situations.
The speed talisman gives +3 speed.
I've been using also the MP regen talisman, seems to make some small difference over time.
Yeah, I just spent a little using the pfdef one - it's not bad. Really.

It would seem the best way to get these things is if you own a castle.
If your clan owns a castle and there is a fortress in that castle's territory that aligns itself with the castle, the castle-owning clan members can do a dungeon consisting of 3 separate Raid Bosses ranging in level. There is a chance to drop S grade shirts and S grade bracelets, among many other hard-to-obtain items. You get a proscribed number of epaulets each time you accomplish the dungeon. With these epaulets, you can go to the Castle Chamberlain and turn in the epaulets and get random specialty talismans (like invincibility or Passive Clarity, etc etc... some are pretty ****ed cool... like one can break silence if it has been cast upon you) and shirts and bracelets (S grades aren't available this way tho). All the shirts have the option to enchant for CP at +4.

Maybe we're talking apples & oranges but our clan has no clan hall nor have we completed a fortress siege.... I got a CGrade Iron Bracelet from the trader in Rune... not a shadow item... I also got from the same trader the Yellow Talisman - Defense Power... it boosted my PDef 24 points to 928. I still can't figure out how to use two talismans though. I know it's CGrade but h well, it was easy to get and I've no idea how much more PDef I'll get with an AG one anyway...

C grade only allows 1. The higher graded bracelets allow more talismans to be used, though I forget how many exactly for each grade.

Bracelet isnt a shadow item, true, the talismans are shadow items though
As to slots, different grades of bracelets allow for different number of equipped talismans
Iron Bracelet C Grade -> 1 Talisman slot
Bronze Bracelet B Grade -> 2 Talisman slots
Steel Bracelet A Grade -> 3 Talisman slots
Mithril Bracelet -> S Grade -> 4 Talisman Slots
Steel and Mithril also come in an "Enhanced" version that gives an mp bonus (120 mp for Mithril)

I wonder why the Iron Bracelet I have has six talisman slots although it only accepts one talisman? Where did you find that info?

Umm .. the bracelet doesnt have any visible slots. Your inventory window has. But the again your inventory window had underwear/cloack slots since prelude ;)
The item description on your bracelet should tell you how many talismans your bracelet supports ... and that's how I got the info, trying out the various bracelets in early ct1.
