hey everyone, i was wondering where is a good place with fast re spawn and good exp for a lvl 38 human knight. thanks for the help

Alligator Island

I'm pretty sure alligator island is a little too strong for a lvl 48 knight to solo.

I did my final stunt to 40 at the ant incubator. I was gaining about 3-4k exp per mop there depending on which one hatched.

At 48 I don't think you should continue to hunt at AI at 38 however, you can hunt along the shore lines getting the alligators and the farhites

That is actually Alligator Beach. And yes, it's a great area at 38, at least if you have buffs.

you can also hunt at Ivory Tower pit pretty easily at 38.

Death pass will work for you and still able to hunt at Gorgon's garden near Giran and even Execution Grounds.

You can also still hunt in orc barracks though those mobs don't drop pots (which kinda sucks) and also, right around Floran at that level I think.

Try some of those out and see how it goes.

There is nothing about alligator isle that a 38 human knight should be messing with. You will die there. Repeatedly.

You woudnt die at AI with buffs...

Stay there till 44 at least give or take.

Best exp in the game bar none at those levels.

A 38 knight cannot solo AI--buffs or no. VR3 or no.

Telling him to try when there are better areas is not being very helpful.

I don't care if you claim to have done antharas as a NG toon--there are good places for a 38 knight solo and Alligator isn't one of them.

Next time you get a human knight to 38 I'll come along and watch.
I'm not saying you can't kill "anything" there--I'm saying it's a stupid place to take a non-DD toon, considering the alternate areas there are.

Just like the guy on the other forums that told him to go to EV at 42---absolutely ridiculous. Same scenario as AI at 38.....wrong.

He should be killing green mobs (white at most) where he can kill them in 6-8 swings (without the panther preferrably--due to cost).

I had FP, +str dye, +4 sls at 40 and AI was still a good place to die solo.
The human knight is happier there at about 43-44. Certainly not 38.

Utter bullcrap sorry. At 38, there isnt that much difference between any class. His DPS isnt a ton lower then a daggers, or gladiators or anything else.

I'd say killing *green* mobs is a completely idiotic choice. Judging from your levels, I guess we know why.

I did it from 36->44. (You dont want to stay there past 44, other places become better..)

The buffs I had was a GSAP, and a 40 SE and did perfectly fine *on a dwarf*.

Hell, even at 40 all I had was a +0 SLS w/ Focus & FP set.

I'm sorry but you freaking /fail amazingly if you died there at 40.

The OP has noted that he is now over low 40's in other posts which I've responded to.
Presumably he'll learn whether to listen to you or to a DA.

I'll not be taking lessons about a DA's leveling from someone who played a dwarf.

There is no point that I've seen in which a DA (or the human knight) is comfortable leveling solo above his own level.
ALL of AI is above 38.
That's the end of the argument unless you want to level a DA and actually learn what it is you're talking about.

I've leveled a SWS, which has far less DPS then a DA.

Hell, our Paladin outleveled you in a month and 2 weeks. I dont think *anyone* should be taking level tips from you.

Everything I've accomplished in game has been on my own--mid 60's on main, 55 ws, etc. and 100's of millions of adena in the market.
I've done it all and done it legit. I wasn't powerleveled, I didn't have to cheat, and I didn't have to run bot trains on other accounts like Bartz players.

I'm proud of what I've accomplished and don't expect or value recognition from the players who play as you do. I consider it a badge of honor not to be associated with your kind.

You can blab all you want about fast leveling of cheaters in the game--I'll remain unimpressed.
Let them generate 5-600 million and 65 levels LEGITIMATELY in 22 months--a significant portion of it unclanned and alone, and THEN I'll look up to them.

I don't know crap about end game and much of the game ahead of me--but I know VERY well what I've gone through and that knowledge and experience isn't 2nd to yours or anyone else's.

well im 49 now and im having trouble leveling in some places i tried so far outlaw forest and p ruins. my guess is to go explore on my own to find an ok place but not sure were to start looking??? :p

Hmm, I think, iirc, that I stayed at pavel until B-grade. I think I could have stayed an extra level or two, but I was bored out of my mind so I moved on. It was awesome xp though. And I got like 10 or more lvl 49 life stones in my time there.

After that a lot of people swear by the forsaken plains, but I personally preferred outlaw forest (cuz it was prettier and the mobs were less spread out, so less running.)

But yeah, just test stuff out. I've found from experience that you can spend more time just researching things on forums than it would take you to actually figure them out yourself. =/

Our Paladin liked Dragon Valley... probably because he was very lucky with the quest there.

I personally thought the exp blowed chunks and did Pavel. Note that there are several area's in Pavel, some of which do have lesser mobs then others. (Especially if your hunting "at the top" near the tower, go to the lower canyons)

Although again it entirely depends upon buffs.

Secret tip though, for the best XP around level 25 to 40: Go to Gludin harbor, swim directly west from the lighthouse.. takes about 10 minutes with wind walk to get there, but I assure you it's worth it!

I did my stunt until 52 just north of Ivory Tower.

Right after you get off the bridge, make a right up the path. There are Elmore Elders and Tarlk Bugbears/Bugbear Warriors.

They gave me decent exp.
