Hello,

I try to edit my personal info, namely signature. I cannot submit, it says that "password must be 4 characters or more". I am not changing pw, just signature ... the fields with passwords are empty when I hit My Home and Edit personal info.
Is it mandatory to change password everytime I upgrade signature now? I wasn't previously.

Yeah. And I cleared cookies and tried different browser as well (Opera, Firefox).

Hmm, weird. I'll have our forum tech look into it.

In addition to this, if you have a link in your signature with the forum coding [url=][url], it turns into a more html-like coding when you go to change a detail in your profile --- often putting you over the character limit if you were already close. It keeps changing to this other coding every single time I try to make another profile adjustment

You don't have to change your password. I just re-enter the same password I have always used. But it is a pain that shouldn't be required.

Thats the thing, you shouldn't have to. Before in the past once you entered it. It would stay.... Ether the board isn't giving the person the right type of cookie or something

I inquired about this and found out that this was a recent security-related to change to our forum software. The password "staying" before was a security concern, so this change was made to make it much less likely for someone else to obtain your forum password.
