62 BD with tsu*sls, Tallum (thanks clannies) and spamming bss... I've been lvling in Forest of Mass, but wondering if there is a better place. I've read about SK at similar levels in Devotions, but wondering if there is other places....
Thanks

Two choices:
1. Do blazing swamp, early areas, all mobs drop pots/herbs. If you think XP isnt all that great, move to the upper portion, and hunt hames shamans/overlords. Avoid the conjurer group bats mob.
2. If you want to be more daring, go to FoTD (Forest of the Dead), stay there until you become a Spectral Dancer (or maybe even 77). Avoid mobs that stun. And yes, this entire zone drops herbs/pots.
Lastly, wherever you do decide to grind, dont forget the ultimate rule as a BD...Hex is your friend.
/gl and enjoy.

Yeah fotd is a good place (during daytime, nighttime you got the stun that messes a bit with you) considering you're using tsu*sls (i also use those) it wouldn't be bad to take a shadow bow or just a b bow with you in case you get rooted (to take down the mobs rooting you). If you got majestic you can also do hot springs, stick to the non aggro mobs at first and slowly move up to the aggro areas.
(this is all of course basing myself on you having access to a clan hall or some buffers)
And i thought the ultimate rule for a bd was to always have dances up <<...

Thanks guys for the insight into FoTD and BS... I guess I didn't think about those areas because basically I'm really solo (no outside buffer and other people to groupl with)... Just wondering with my current set up I should be "survivable" in those areas without a lot of down time (even though there are herb drops). Also, at this lvl, would it be necessary to get +4 A duals? Or just stick with my +4 bduals....

The place they are recommending might be a bit much at 62. You could also just stick with FP for a couple more levels, then go do the 1/2 HP mobs outside Goddard. And there is always Shillien Seal, which ain't a great place, but it's doable, and there is a decent quest which starts. IIRC correctly at level 63 to get recs for A grade jewelry and shields.

Well, yeah i based my suggestions on atleast having basic offensive and defensive buffs .(lvl 3 shield & might, zerk 2, haste 2, focus 3, dw 3, resist shock for hs, magic barrier for fotd.)
Without outside buffs i'm not sure (stopped being unbuffed when i hit b grade, only times i'm unbuffed is at end of round) but yeah fp or fom should be ok as long as you keep it to one mob at a time. (don't forget to bring health pots or greater health pots with you.)
Dual wise +4 tsu*sls are good (crit rate boost + dance of fire is always fun). I'd only go for +4 a duals if you can really afford the money drain of ssa and the cost of the +4 a duals.

If you can find a healer or a buffer to come along, I also know a great place for you: Frozen Labyrinth, hunting the Golem groups there. They have 1/2 hp and give tremendous amounts of xp - I have done 15% per hour and more. You should look for a spot with two groups close to each other - you will never run out of targets then. ^^
The place will stop working for you at lvl 64, though, cause the golems are not so high level...

The last suggestion is make pole parties in cata.
BD is always usefull and do nice dmg if he isn't tanking
(Crit Stun Lance FTW !)
