Was going to go with divine robes, but I've just noticed the light armour mastery, it's pretty nice so, light armour or robes? I will be using common items so doesn't matter about set bonus.
Active SE or boxed?
If active, are you using a pet to level?
If boxed, just get karmian.
If leveling with a pet, duals and light armour so you can assist the pet.

Get +4wit -4men, +4 con -4str,
Get a nuker weapon with acumen, with karmain or demon robes, your choice
buff yourself up and hit inquisitor stance.
you are now a nuker.

Sorry forgot to mention it's a boxed buffer, will be using +3 homu /w acumen.
Karmian then Avadon then DC. Keep the homu throughout.

Ok thanks alot purp, does it really matter what armour if i'm using common? Or would it be worth switching to non-common at B grade?
Mithril is better than common C and common B robes.. simply because of the casting speed and mp increase. Common doesn't give MP or casting speed so it's worthless (pdef doesn't matter on boxed buffers).

Whats mithril? lol. So i should buy non-common karmian at lvl 40?
Mithril is what you should be wearing at D grade ... lol
Get Karmian from the vendors, yes. Don't forget the 'full' set. It tells you on the tool tip for the robe.

Ok thanks i'm wearing common sage's, not much point to change now since im lvl 37, I'm guessing the armour trader in Giran. I have a common divine tunic which i found on my dwarf, that says mp increase +314, that wouldn't take effect if it's common?
Correct.
Buy full, hardcore trader karmian, gloves and boots and grab yourself a full plate helmet. Not forgetting some jewellery.

Well at B grade get a SOES and put the BTB SA on it. You give up some casting speed but you gain BTB 5 as a buff.
All that money for a buff? Is it really worth it?

Yes It is it saves on heals because the heal over time has more HP 2 heal. More HP is always good and good for pets also.
It also Helps when I'm hunting and chatting and not paying attention to my buffer being smack around by an argo. The Extra HP on the buffer gives me more time to respond.
Also when your Nobel doing Oly you can borrow the weapon from your buffer ;)

Remember the non-common armor is available now in Giran at the luxury shop, although you need crystals. I lucked out with partner who is always breaking weapons in enchantment, so plenty of crystals.
My SE (lvl 55) wears Zubei light w/duals and fights more than nukes or spells when solo; has a lvl 50 hatchling fighting with her. I just have to avoid multiple mobs cuz she can die quick. I made a battle heal macro that targets her and ends with "next" attack and that helps.
Inquisitor is nice, but you can't heal while in that stance. Need pots. Buff before transform.
I like trading off with my transform onyx beast. I buff up before transformation.

Oh, and when you get to collecting life stones, use augment accessories. I takes 10 stones to make an accessory stone. I just discovered that I can augment all my jewelry and I'm getting some nice little boosts to mp, matk, mdef and even hp regeneration.

Hmm alot of useful information here thanks alot, but whats this about life stones? I know you can augment and stuff but an accessory stone? Please enlighten me.
Another thing, I'll probably keep my homu for like, forever or until i'm rich. What level would it be worth using a life-stone at, and what grade? I'm not rich at all :D

It's all good information except for augmenting jewelry. I wouldn't waiste the money on auging jewelry until A grade. C and B grade common jewelry is good enough specially on a 2box buffer. If it's your main and you have the adena then it can help.

You don't get the set bonus, but you do get the MP the robe gives even from common.
at a grade I would suggest tallum robe since it's cheaper than DC and they both have the same casting speed bonuses.

Thought i'd put it here instead of making another thread, is there any good places with lots of undead mobs around 40-45? I'm trying to catch up with my dwarf, lvl 40 SE, soldiers of grief are good but no herb drops :( Preferably not zombies though.

He implied he needs herb drops which he will not find in Dragon Valley.
In that case he's a bit screwed.
There are 4 undead mobs between 35-45 which drop herbs.
Grave Wanderer (zombies outside Aden)
Rakul (Fields of Whispers, Heine)
Dark Corpse (Crypts of Disgrace)
Fettered Soul (Death Pass)
These mobs are all in areas with mixed race mobs so you won't get an undead each kill. If you're 40-42, keep killing fets. After that I really suggest you forget about herbs and find a party or head into Dragon Valley solo. Don't bother on the Rakuls because they have slightly more HP than you can hit for which becomes a pain.
I tried to find the same thing on my Bishop but gave up and decided to party her in rifts. It's a lost cause for undead-killers until you're mid/late 50's or mid/late 60's. Low 50's and low 60's get it bad unless you can find groups.

I had use Demon Tunic with Homunculus with acumen for Lvling, because you hit more powerful, and Inquisitor have a re-use 0, lv 42 Pirate Island is a good place for get xp.
The Trick is Hit and run....

is the most used, but if you want Casting Speed DC Robe is a good choice.
But, the MJ robe is the Best.

It's the island southwest from Giran harbour.
Inquisitor turns you into a nuker. You can't use any of you regular skills while in this mode (exept 2-3 skills depending on class...SE keeps Emp, WM and gets Holy weapon), but you will have nukes that works on any type of mobs so you can hunt where ever you want with it.
It isn't as strong as a nukers nuke, but it will allow you to 2 or 3 shoot mobs (I did the 73-77 Pailaka with my SE at lvl 73 and it was alot easier than on my WS at 76 thanks to the nukes).
