ghost hunters + bow ???

ok so im a ghost hunter and im using a drac bow, it says i have 1.6k p. atk but i shoot like a little girl. . . wtf is up with that? i know we specialize in daggers but we have some bow mastery skills that should make it a lil better.

How much more damage output do you want? Those masteries ended at lvl 40.

Even archers hit like little girls if they are not properly/fully buffed and what made them so powerful is the fully stacked crit buffs (include songs, dances, kat buff and boss jewels) :p

well i expected more than 500 damage with a p atk of 1600. . . but yea i kno the mastery ended at 40, just thought i would still do more damage

Well, a fully buffed archer has quite a bit more patk than 1600... and since patk increase directly translates into damage (twice the patk=twice the damage), that's where your problem is. E.g. a fully buffed moon sentinel has about twice that patk.

my PR has almost 1.6k p attack at lvl 53... and my friends 66 HE has well over 2k with decent buffs... -str isnt the way to go with bows

Simple math. Target defence is ~450 = 1600 * 70 * 2 / 500. Choose another mobs, or these mobs have resistances against bows. Or whatever, you are dager and bow is for emergency.

And bow masteries gives a lot to final p.atack of archers.

what do you expect with -str tats...

my 61 HE with +3 soulbow has over 2k p.atk with just might.... going -5str is like asking to hit like a girl... go +4str/+5dex or +5str, +4dex if you wanna hit like a truck.

1 question have you been stealing my "BEER" on phoenix cuz , and this my personal opinion so everyone knows, you musta been drunk going -str on any toon cuz that just sounds like a very bad idea no matter if it's pve where hitting like a sissy isn't noticed or if it's pvp where it does and then you get slapped arround and owned.

I'd suggest you do what these guys say and go to the gym and bulk up on steroids so you don't hit like a sissy and also get 1 of the +str armor sets and use that also it should help.

Last thing hide from your enemies till you get your str fixed cuz now they know your a sissy and will roll you easy cuz you hit like a girl :)

Only tanks, buffers/healers are exused to go -str do +dex or +con :p

instead of listening to ppl who have never played epic daggers i would advise keep doing what you are doing.. relatively speaking. What these ppl fail to realise is that our dagger skills dmg output is not related to your str at all. I am - 9 str + 4 con + 5 dex As a GH lvl 78 i have 6200+ hp with ch buffs. my patk is still 750 evasion is around 148. Your survivability goes up substantially but increasing you hp/ stun resist and evasion. Bows are just useless for daggers... unless special situations arise... liek getting rooted by a healer. I can still one shot just about any nuker/ light armor class. Ive been hero multiple times. Trust emthis setup works. you need 150 element dagger. water is probably your best bet . The reason is, you can enchant your freezing strike for water. so it increases the damage by alot. you normally dont use freezing strike in pvp... as bleed slows your target and is faster. but freezing strike is great for when you outnumber a fleeing opponent, lets say... an sr or tyrant in rabbit ><. with the 150 element on my weapon i still solo and get great xp. you can solo iop easily buffless at 78 with 150 fire weapon. i one shot each mob with focus death. adn they drop elixers so you should run out of mana for an hour or so. If you want to hunt iop go fire. but water is always a good choice for GH's in specific. and dont forget to enchant your skills for your weapon element or else the elements wont stack on skills. You probably knew most of this.. but i figure with everyone giving their two cents in the wrong direction i might reinforce your tat choices ^^
iop is fire weak / water resist just to clarify in case you didnt know and fire stones drop there.

Ahh ok gotcha roh and as far as epic daggers go my lvl 55 will get there one day just busy making a "EPIC" Dominator/Hell Knight but still have love for the future "epic" Ghost Hunter/Grand Khavatari/Dreadnaught that will be eventually.

So what happened to all the players saying go PL set cuz of the STR bonus in c grade if dropping str is the best idea? just curiouse cuz that's the only c grade set people always bring up when talking about c grade light.

You dont go -str pre 76 because you mainly xp.

full buffed GH 78 with focus death/power hitting from behind have a bonus: +60%/90% dmg and his 'arrows' are more powerfull than an archer.

only problem with 'shooting GH' is that his bow range is 600.

and so as people said, if you wanna exp then go +str+dex -con.

dyes +con+dex - str are great but for pvp on high lvls when you don't need exp anymore.

If you didnt buy longshot lvl 1 at 20, then yes. Otherwise your range is 750.
