Hi guys,... after a failed research over the net I am daring to post here for your opinions about what 'elemental attribute' should I apply to S weapon (FB /focus).
My character is a Hell Knight with a FB /focus. The information I found on the website was "apply the attribute that suits the best the skill you use the most". With that on mind, Storm Screamers will apply wind stones to their weapons, MysticMuse will add water stones, and I was told that Paladins and Evas Templars should use divine stones in their weapons. But no info about what suits the best for a Hell Knight :S
Now, I remember that Hell Knights always were opposed of Paladins. So, shall I use Dark Stones in my FB weapon? Any thoughts will be highly appreciate it.

Atribute stones that is hard to get, like wind, is the best choice. Because they're expensive and most of your targets wont have ressist wind.

The only reason for tanks to get a specific attribute is for the lvl 81 seed skill which has it's own specific element. DA's however is non-elemental. Your cat will be dark next update though.

Can't you enchant Judgement for Dark? I know you can on an SK. Better than nothing :(

Judgement is already dark, so is drain health. Both skills will do more damage with dark attribute on FB, but im not sure if having these 2 dark skills is enough good reason to put dark on FB... but in next update with also panther having dark attacks it will be definatelly worth considering.

As for my first FB I already went 150 fire. Because it was cheapest way to get atribute. Atm I've 2nd FB and puting wind stones on it, because it's quite rare atribute and a lot of ppl dont have wind ressists on armors. I was not even considering dark due to jud/drain health. Because simply I'm doing more dmg with normal swing than judment(jud I only use for it's debuf effect) secondly I dont even have drain health in my skill bar, so it's basicaly useless.

i'm a TK and i'm putting divine on mine just because almost all the high-end stuff i would kill is dark attribute.

it's best to go for the most expensive element in the hopes that your targets can't afford to have resists, earth is technically best because no real class has it (excluding elemental enchants) and it's cost is equal to wind but considering how many SH there are hanging around ppl do like to add wind resist
holy 90% of the time will be the best PVE element and it's also not highly resisted against but to a lesser extent than wind/earth but my recommendation is to get the element that you are confident you can afford to get high (70-150) since walking around with 20 of anything won't get you very far in either PVE or PVP
fire/water are the cheapest elements to get because fire stones drop from IOP which you can pretty much solo with a 7x toon and you can trade fire for water at the elemental guy

Thx a lot all for your quick responses. I am thinking to wait a little bit more (last update) so I can make up my mind and figure out what stones to go for. I was thinking Dark stones because the panther will have dark attack in the next gracia update. But, I noticed that S80 armor has dark element resistance already (at least the heavy armor set does).
Now, putting all the pieces together, the damage of an element resides pretty much in the ability of the target to resist that element. So, adding rare attribute stones to a weapon (like earth) does not sound bad at all. I hope I can reach 78 and farm my own stones.
Again, thx a lot all.

don't think the mechanics are the same anymore but normal melee attacks used to be earth-elemental attribute, i believe. my experimentations consisted of me playing an ES main for c2-4 and popping surrender to earth in parties and asking about the damage differential.

won't matter if panther is dark next chron cause you won't be transferring element to it like "real" summoners do

Doesn't the panther also debuff dark resist?

err.... no idea man
if it does have a "surrender to dark" then yeah dark obviously a good choice

This is what I read about it:
Dark Panther
4 New Skills
‧Dark Claw: Increase Dark attack attribute, can decrease target's dark attribute resistance
‧Cancel: Cancel's target's buffs
‧Dark Panther Invis: Enters an invisible state, movement speed decreases by 10%, skill usage and attacking will remove the effect
‧Claw Attack: Dose massive damage to target

yup
dark obviously the way to go then depending on how much it lowers it and how resists work past 150

Well considering it's made out of fire, I'd guess fire.

Hey guys,, I am still taking notes and doing research. Thanks all for your responses.
I was just wondering if someone can confirm the following information for me:
"...and don't forget, since ct2.2, elemental power are shared between summon and summoner (necro and da too) so a da with fb 150 dark will share 150 dark patk with the dp"
information from (http://forum.pmfun.com/viewtopic.php?p=51096)
So if panther is going to have the following skills in the last Gracia update:
4 New Skills
‧Dark Claw: Increase Dark attack attribute, can decrease target's dark attribute resistance
‧Cancel: Cancel's target's buffs
‧Dark Panther Invis: Enters an invisible state, movement speed decreases by 10%, skill usage and attacking will remove the effect
‧Claw Attack: Dose massive damage to target
,..... I think Dark stones so far seems the way to go. Any thoughts?

necros and DA's do *not* give 80% of their element to their servitors, so far as i know. they are not a summoner.

Dark is the way to go. Your panther will make the target weak to dark atk plus your panther and you will do dark atk if you have dark element on sword. Soon all elements will be pretty common to get so go with dark, any future changes to DA will most likely incorp dark attribute since they have already started going that way by giving panther dark atk.
