Gonna finish my CCQ tonight and hit 40 on my BD. I was wondering if anyone had tips on good solo xp spots until B grade. My clannies are going to help me out with some armor/jewels and C duals (prob Full Plate/duals not sure which). Anyways this is assuming I solo it with newbie buffs and reg HP pots.

PS- I raid and kama everyday, so this is just tips for when I'm alone.

PPS- I know +4 Str -4 Con is good, but someone mentioned doing dex also to +4. I was thinking that would leave me with awful HP and get me stunned a lot. Is the dex benefit on them really worth it for pve?

Well.. here's how I did it:

40 -> 44 - Hardins / Hunter Village
44 -> 52 - EV

But if you think that EV is a bit challenging.. you can continue until 50 outside Hunter's Village and then move to Forsaken Plains plateau.

I suggest:
40-46 catas. At 43lvl you will get Dance of light. Kill most undead and demonics
46-50 dragon valey. Target types same as above. But most mobs there are undeads.
50-52 South of the cemetry. There are 2 graveyards. Main target zombies.

Best equipment:
armor: full plate set
jevell: buy common
weapon: Shamshir*Raid sword +4

Might wanna try compound armor instead, gives a bonus to how much you can carry. Dark elves are notorious for not being able to carry a whole lot, and the bonus from full plate is only hp right?

Get duals with crit, and skip the dex tattoo.

Ya u know I was looking at that armor bonus, and it seems pretty attractive for me. I was leaving town with like max 3500 ssd and 100 HP pots and at that was just under the weight limit. Basically I was running to the WH every time I came back to rebuff.

this is most likely ur best and easiest spots. i did ev with my bd up to 55 at the top lvls with the elder mobs.

as for the tats. dex is not necessary. just get crit duals like someone here already mentioned and stay with the str tats. if u can afford oe'd tsu*sls when u hit B grade then use those duals up to S grade then u can get tal*dle. most cost effective on shots too.

oh comp armor was my choice but it was cus i couldnt afford anything else. im glad i stuck with that one tho cus the extra carry weight was awesome.

Guys, you will pass c grade so fast and there is no need to concentrate on good armor or jevelry. I even suggest to use common jevelry.
Weapon is other story because it affect exp speed directly.

Equipment guide:
C grade:
- weapon: Shamshir*Raid sword +4 -> crit.rate SA or any with crit. rate sa
- armor: any heavy, it can even be common
- jevelry: common top from shop
B grade:
- weapon: Tsurugi*SLS +4 -> crit.rate SA. Best SA for BD in that grade because you have crit.dmg dance. Augment weapon to get more advantages.
- armor: not big deal, any heavy set. Wana speed - go BW, wana defence - go zubei or doom.
- jevelry: still not big deal, you can even stay with c grade common
A grade (some PvP comes):
- weapon (if you can afford): Dama*Tallum +4 -> attack speed SA; And get common Soul bow for some special cases. Augment weapon.
- armor: 2 options: attacker - go tallum, defencive: majestic
- jevelry: majestic. Augment jevelry.
S grade (a lot of PvP comes):
- weapon: very simple :) Dle*tall+4 and Draconic bow+focus SA. Put elementall stones on weapons (I think holly is best for you). Put fame SA (PvP) on weapons - imho PvP bonuses are not worth but +5% to damage anyway is good.
- armor: also simple :D IC. If you can afford go +4 or even +6. Put attributes on armor. Put fame PvP on armor - I think that you need to put it even before weapon.
- jevelry: tateosian and/or some epics if you can afford of course

Tatoos:
- pve: it is ok +4str -4con
- pvp: not sure but -4dex +4con can be interesting

What else. Don't forget that Hex is magical skill, and with blessed spiritshots work better and faster. Also when solo VR is yours best friend.

With correct setup you can solo in Rift 60, when you are ~65lvl.

woa he was just asking for c - b grade lol. he sounds like a fairly new player so having real items is always a boost for him anyway. resell that stuff for a good chunk of money. besides his clan is doing a good job and getting him gear. he doesnt need to worry about how much its gonna cost atm.

is +10 (or more) tsurugi*sls a good weapon to use in A grade as a BD with tallum heavy?

I'm going pure PvE and don't have any dyes yet, but I'm thinking of adding some (maybe +4 dex -4 con for the extra atk speed/crit rate and since tallum has +2str -2con) when I hit A grade.

I gotta tell ya that in B grade with no tats I get stunned like a champ, so I would say from my limited BD experience that the +Dex -Con just is not worth it. Str is a different story, but in Tallum Heavy you should be fine with the atk speed bonus.

To everyone that left tips my thx. I've been sitting the BD for about a week and a half while I leveled 2 dwarfs and an SE up, make my own shots which saves me cash and I am sticking with the C grade while I get ready for A gear. I took some of the armor enchants I've gotten to enchant my FP to +4/+3 and doing manor to grab mats. Some pretty good tips you guys left.

atm I have +3 con from the doom set so stun isn't that big issue for me, but I guess it will be if I go -6 con (including tallum heavy). I'm used to play a high con class (WS) that doesn't get stunned that easy :p
