I haven't started an epic thread since ... well I forgot.

So here it is, feel free to take potshots.

To start off, I have a simple request. When calling me by name in game, please call me "Mae" as that is the name I use IRL. My real name is "Jodi Mae" but I REALLY hate my first name.

So, the epic thread is off and running!

"Mae" like the month of "May" or "Mother may I?"

I'm told "Mae" means "Mother" in Portuguese, so my Portuguese friends have special dispensation since I don't want to be their "Mother".

Also, don't be sorry. I have become used to it and, really I was asking for it by using the name like that (Wouldn't let me use "Mae" or even "May"). This post came about as my husband was watching (he may play on a toon on my account sometime) and everyone was calling me "Jodi" (or worse "Jodie"). He took entirely too much pleasure in that. He knows how I react when someone IRL calls me that (Its not pretty, it may even involve iron pants).
