I havent explored hellbound yet.
I have a Arcana Lord nearing 78, and a prophet also.
Would this setup do ok at the front of hellbound or would I need a 78 WC?
Just interested, and if not where is good at this level besides varka and/or bs?

VR always helps for pet, but a 78 kai shouldnt have too much trouble, just try not to pull all the front mobs on you at once lol.
IOP should be really easy for you, even without element.

Ya those hurts lol. Im hoping he has been to hellbound before though, and is simply asking if its doable relying on dmg/vr effect.
He has a high lvl hawkeye main atm.
Could also try getting to that cemetery spot, not sure if you can get there without Dance of shadow though.

Yes, stay away from the Junior MOBs.
Lol, I tried to solo one of those. Ended up SOEing. It killed my buffed Cursed Man in about 4-5 hits and then it came for me, but I had mass Slow and Abyss on it, so I was lucky.
The easy MOBs at the front are fine, though. They drop divine stones. Other than that, you're better off Soloing in Ketra or Varka, IMO (or MoS/TOI/etc. depending on what Attribute you have on mace, if any).
I wouldn't waste my time on IoP, personally :P

IoP isn't actually that bad as long as you can get the mobs to kill. In a 2 man party, the beach mobs give about 10k xp, 'but' they drop like butter. If there was an area of say 3x the mob density of what they have now and perhaps double the spawn rate (so you could aoe say, 5-6 mobs at a time), it would be awesome. As it is now, it's about as good as Silent Valley. Varka is too busy to ever be good enough tbh, even though it is one of the best spots in the game.
All this from the perspective of a melee with a singular non-Prophecy buffer btw...

That's why I allied with Varka and kill Ketra. I see everything from Tanks to Tyrants to Gladiators to SEs leveling there. Should not be too bad for anyone else. Hardly any bots, actually fairly empty most days :P

yea ... empty but not weak to melee weapons like varkas.

The game has changed. Get a decent weapon (i.e. Attribute) and level where you can more consistently get a good/free XP spot. Ketra is fine.

I subbed SK on my arcana lord. And that was pure dumb luck. Not only did I have to tank my own raid for getting lvl 5, I had to box my own cardinal too lol.

If you don't mind a noob question, I was wondering if the other summoner classes have the same soloing ability or if Warlocks are noticeably better?

Warlock pets have noticeably higher patk, but other than that not much is different. PS has the best cubics, ES the best 79 pet, and warlock best party summon and both banes.

ES/PS > Warlock for soloing below 77.
Warlock has an advantage in 77 because it's the only Summoner that gets a decent melee prophecy.
At 78 they all get CoV.
At 79+ the ES is better. PS and Warlock are close, but I'd give the edge to PS.
Things are different in PvP, though, but next update PS will get better since they will be able to OE their Death Spike for Duel (PvP) and will have close to a 100 Power PvP Nuke. Looks like the whining paid off.
I don't give much thought to party summons because there aren't really enough parties to make it much of a factor below S Grade anyways. Most summoners use their 79 Servitors at 79+ levels, since they are fairly good DDs with appropriate gear.
