View Full Version : Funny olympiad calculations
Guys, you told me that in order to get tokens for olympiad, you have to take 9 matches and that you could loose all of them and yet, still have some points.
Last month (August) I had 14 matches, 3 wins, 11 looses, got 1 oly point. BUT, 2 months ago, I participated only 3 times, ALL lost, got 30 points.
And for 31 points I got 20k Tokens. So....I don't get it... Why would I participate 9 times and loose points, if I could participat just a few times and still get 30 points?

If you dont do 9 matches, you dont get the 20k tokes, everyone gets 20k for 9 matches.
30 points means nothing if you didnt finish your 9.

i know once i done 8 matches and didnt get a ranking so maybe the olympiad fairies are doing your matches while you sleep because you won't get 20k tokens with 3
the reason you got 30 points is because you get points every sunday (i think)

Yes. You can lose all 9 and still get 20k tokens.

The olympiad points (which you see via /olympiadstat) do not determine whether you get tokens or not, they only determine if you get 20k (minimum) tokens or maybe more, if you are in the upper 50% of the players or even higher.
The ONLY thing which is important for getting any tokens is that you have done 9 matches, no matter if you win or lose. 8 or less matches - no tokens.

But what's the fun of killing unarmed ppl? I mean, don't tell me a PP can really kill anyone nowadays....
if you are not top nuker, 300 84+ dagger with lot of cookies, 84+ ee with strong equip or destroyer with lot of +speed stuff, then i can proly kill you, mb not every match but most of them

You can really handle the damage in DC? Any of the Teon Soul Hounds have 300+ attribute yet? The longer the fight goes on for, the more likely you would probably lose imo. Best chance would be to mcrit before you lose all your buffs. You could re-buff I guess, but then a Soul Hound will just take them again. Hmm, I should watch Teon oly more I think...

Best chance would be to mcrit before you lose all your buffs. You could re-buff I guess, but then a Soul Hound will just take them again. Hmm, I should watch Teon oly more I think...
my set is ofc +6, which makes pdef decent with gshield/shield/pof
loosing 24buffs + rebuffs takes some time, and sb doesnt have good enough mdef/hp/cp to last that long usualy, without nuke augments i would proly loose, thats true, even tho w/o mp you cant do much, but it would be much harder
well dark crystals are cheapest, but ofc cant say if they have 300 or not, but i only lost when i got para when i wasnt using dc set

Soul Hounds have around 3k mp. If you spend time using mana burn, after you've lost key buffs (mental/pof) Silence will land eventually. Like I said, the longer the fight goes on for, the more likely you will lose. Concerning the DC set, it's not really about the para. It's more about the nuke damage Geting hit for 360+ dark damage kinda hurts.
It's like people forget what else the toon can do because of that over-powered crazy skill ^_^. Still, I'm sure you beat your fair share of them. still, if you fought any that were as geared or leveled as yourself, I can't see you winning much tbh. Oh well. Too much theorycraft tbh. I guess we'll never know. :)

well, i have pof and important buffs buffed first ofc, so it will take long time before you steal them, about 360+ dark damage, i have one of the highest mdefs, and how much mp you have is pretty much irrelevant, burn burns %, doesnt take long to empy your mp
yea if the fight will be long, i might loose, but dont forget you cant heal yourself and my nukes hurt:)

I think it will be easy to kill Nya in Oly.
Just drop cookies on the ground and kill him while he's distracted. :D
