For some reason, today, Quest items aren't dropping.
Don't tell me "wait a few minute/mobs, it will drop!" - no. I've done ALL of the prequests, and I've attacked hundreds of the Quest Monsters for 3 hours straight, and I did not have a single drop. I did this quest a day ago (because the hair just started to annoy me so I made a new character) and it dropped in matter of secondes.
I know it' dire, and probably useless to ask, but if anyone at NCSoft could quickly why they won't drop the quest items, I'd be grateful.
It's concerning the Cat's Eye Bandits in Abandoned Camp.

are you sure its the cats eye mobs and not the novices your supposed to be killing? i know the two are quest mobs cant remember exactly. what quest are you doing?

recheck that you 've actually done all the steps, 99% of those ****it quest items don't drop thingees are the guy just missing a step or not talking to an npc or something. Check in your quests, expand that specific one and see if you 're actually supposed to hunting cats eye bandits or ... you 're supposed to be talking to some npc in Dion

I'm doing the quest: Path to a Rogue.
I've done the part where I got Wanted Bill (quest item) It says to kill the Cat's Eye Bandits..
PS: I'm even using the dagger you need for them to drop!
did you petition a gm in game for a quest bug? Last night my hubby was working on his SO's class change quest and the quest wasn't progressing. He submitted a petition and today he was able to complete it. He actually didn't get a response (as of the time i'm writing this)...but it did work today. Dunno if they fixed something or if it was just that he logged for a bit.

As far as i know the drop rate on each of the quest item is not 100%, so might take more killing since the drop rate does not stack.. so that means it is random that each time you kill a quest mob there is a less than 50% of the item to drop. If first one does, next one has the same random chance.. etc.
A friend was doing the 3rd class quest th epast two days and have been hunting the Guardians of Forbidden Knowlege at VoS. Well, he is supposed to hunt the group mobs at NE area of VoS (for Arcana Lord) .. but he kept hunting those at Southern VoS (for Eva's Templar) .. so for two days he got nothing until I asked him which group he was hunting. >.<
Of course he has petitioned and was told to hunt the right group.. which he ignored because he thought he knew he got the 'right group'. =.=
