Hi-
I just had my first territory war, and got a whopping total of 8 badges. (Insert sarcastic glance here) I hear that if you get enough then you don't have to do the sub-class quest, you can just be noble at level 75. So here are two questions:
1. How many badges do I need? My friend said that if you log on for about two wars, you can be noble. I'm not sure if this is accurate because 16 badges (in my case) doesn't seem really remarkable.
2. Have any tips on how to get more than 8 badges? I did the thing where you kill say 12 mages. (Note that it was just a friend who brought a toon, I can't actually kill an S-grade mage unless they take off all armor and jewels and use their nose to type)

you need 100 badges
you earn more badges by going out and killing players who have signed at a different territory.
you can kill members of your own clan and your own party, and as long as they are signed with a different territory, and are over level 61, each party member will receive credit for the kill, even if they are in town.
yeah the best way is to get with your clan and "farm" badges. you need 100 badges from the same territory to get your noble. If complete all 5 of the kill quests that are out there, you can get an average of around 40+ badges per TW.

there's a pretty thorough explanation of how/how many badges you get here -> http://boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=2945992&postcount=18

yup
and even if you only get like 2 of those quests done youll have about 30 when youre signed to the right territory.
i was signed with Oren for a while, and although i got 3 quests done i only got 16 badges, whereas my box who signed with Aden did the same 3 quests and got 31.
so pick a territory where you know the server's big people hang around in.

The highest badge number in 1 TW I've seen was 83 or something around that. It was a nuker party that killed 2-3 catapults and farmed 100+ kills at MRT lol.
So yes it's definately capable in 2 TW, possibly 1.

Last TW I took a catapult down and killed all the kills the quest window needed and I got only 53 badges.

if you buy the reagents (cause no way you 're farming moonstones, sulfur, demons blood etc etc in a day) and ... have somebody ready to kill Barakiel for you when you need it.

dont forget the fact that u need to have a subclass 75+ lvl to do it the old way!! And i hope in the next updates they will change that old way that included having sub and killing barakiel with a new easier or at least more self done way!!!

my personal best is 97 badges in a single TW on a 73 BD, got 2 catapults, killed all the required people and managed to rake up a pile more kills as we tried to storm a castle and while i died frequently i kept managing to get kills.
I know of another who managed to get 3 catapults down make all the kills necessary for top elite mercenary quest completion and kills at least 100 people or more, the bugger got 139 badges in 1 TW... pretty **** lucky and amzing... not bad for 2 hour run.
be sure to log before the TW begins. i for once logged a few min later killed some people but did not get any badges. something with quests orso

It's possible to do it in a day.
Especially now that you don't need Baium.
It's not hard to get 600 Moonstone Shards. There are some other reagents that are a bit harder to get, but they can be brought.
I know from experience :P

I did it in one day with killing Baium. It was a very long day, though.

impossible to do that RB since all my friends are to high
i had to rely on TW badges to get noblesse and doing that on all my other chars too

First, TW is definitely much easier o get subclass and noble.
Running the subclass quests are easy until the raid bosses. anyone who says they completed it in one day is a complete liar, unless it was on a PTS. Unless in a major clan you will be lucky if you ever see Biaum.
I did the subclass by getting into Biaum. I got noble through TW. don't forget to get noble any other way you still have to level a sub to 75. That is not happening in one day. not even for the BOTs.

... or very lucky, or just kinda special :p
It was the last Baium spawn (before the merge) on Hindemith. The Friday late night was a regular Friday night 7x boss raid by one of Hindemith's PvE clans and their friends (I regularly participated in it just for fun). The Saturday was the Baium spawn. I was in a small nonfactor clan but had good friends everywhere, including that zerg that was holding Baium at that time. So, I joined the raid, went in, equipped the dagger, hit Baium with windstrike, switched to my main weapon and then stayed in until Baium was dead (doing some petty jobs that wouldn't affect the outcome anyway, like healing the tank - in my party - kiting the angels, or recharging nukers). After that, I've got my share in drops (the ring was put on an internal auction).
The hardest part was not to fall asleep before the Baium spawned.
And I got noble through TW.

When i was in Divine the party i was in got 43 badges one night. By sitting intown i get 7 one Sat and 13 the next or 20 a month.
So probably 1 1/2 months with a clan and 5 months clanless...to a casual it means it takes longer but they don't need a clan.

If you pick the right town to ally with for TW, it takes 8 TW with doing nothing.
Thats what I'm doing on my Teon toons. Just check the tab to see who has most/all of the wards and sign with them :D

Even without a party? You have to be logged in, right?

I signed Aden...Hated to (Nova) but that's the town that's closest to where i grind. I don't think i could do worst and i'm not gonna spend Adena to port to some other town...plus i just sit there.
Either way you do it, with or without a clan, it is considerably easier to get noble through the TW than it is going through the subclass quest and the grinding a sub to level 75 and then doing the nobel quests.

Ermmm... my toons on teon always sign Giran (as clan). But I've been dead at Oren, Aden and Giran so far and always gotten same amount of badges (13).
You dont have to be at the actual castle you sign for...

True. TH sits in Aden and signed in Dion. Orc was not signed when i decided to try to get him to Noble before April. WC account expires Jan24th got real close with the badges but was only able to get him to 73 :(
Now only have 1 buffer... a 65 pp..wtbVR...lol.

Hi guyz!
I have tw quest from Gludio and already have some badges. My new clan registers to another territory. Do I have to begin my quest from the start in the new territory and loose my badges? Or after the end of the tw I go to Gludio NPC as usual?
Thanks!
Spudnik

stick to Gludio if youre getting a good number of badges each tw. if youre not getting good rewards, spend the badges on belts and go sign up somewhere that will get more. usually thats the territory that owns the wards.
being logged in before the start and at the finish without dcing seems to be relevant if i dc i get less - but on teon i sit in giran for 2 hours n get 13 badges for doing nothing.
on pheonix ppl generally go to mob derby collosium or a friendly fort and farm them - i think its a nonsense tbh but its a fault in how its devised so will happen - if ur in a party thats farming in someway or actually participating, u get 40+ average in my experience regardless of catapults.
but yes definately check which town has the most wards.

You keep your old badges but start getting new ones and you need 100 from the same territory. If you have a good stack of Gludio badges you might want to stick with Gludio as those badges don't count for getting noble though the new territory.
