Hello everyone!
I have come back to lineage after a long break because nothing else can compare.
It has been while but i have read up on Clan academy, and i am looking for an active clan that wants the points, can give me ideas to grind, and would prefer someone to do kamas with if they have alts or an active academy.
Was planning on going a warcryer with a great wolf combo. Seeing as this is my first time on this server, is this going to be to expensive to sustain by myself?? are warcryers still wanted? Please tell me if i'm asking to much or dreaming with this mix up!
Cheers!

First, this post might do better in the Clan Recruitment Forum http://boards.lineage2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=219
or the server forum that you are on :p
Warcryers do well leveling and are great at higher levels, much wanted in parties. If you have been gone a long time you will find leveling much faster these days too :D
WB and good luck :)

You can level fine without a pet but why not use one for fun and as he levels up you can make good money selling them when they evolve. Takes a little of your xp but a wolf will help you kill faster. I have every kind of pet there is in game lol (except Couger) and have raised a few to sell too =D
If you do the Pet Wolf Quest http://l2.eogamer.com/wiki/Get_a_Pet you get a level 15 wolf (free and repeatable) and can level him right along with you until he is 55 and canthen transform into a Great Wolf :) To buy a GW on Phoenix will cost around 50 million and would not be good for a low level toon anyway :o
There are some older threads here about pets and you can look at this http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/pet_1.html although I don't know how up to date that one will be ><
Another one you might find helpful http://l2pets.com/
A couple of tips:
Get him low level armor/weapon/jewel, whatever you can afford. If he is around your level he will do decent damage to mobs. When I recently leveled a Destro for academy, my wolf was one-shotting mobs that were yellow/pink to me and that took me a few swings to kill even with an over enchanted weapon =D
If he dies by mobs (pretty common lol) you can use the cheap res scrolls from the grocery store. While he is low level he will recover xp quickly. Res within 24 hours though or he will disappear. As he levels up you will probably want to get Blessed Pet Res from the Dawn Priest during the week the blacksmith of mammon shows up (you have to be signed up).
Get wolf food and put it on him. He will eat when hungry. Be sure he always has food because if a pet dies of starvation he disappears immediately and is gone forever :( Don't go afk for long with a pet out :/ You can put heal pots and even buff pots on the pet and activate by right clicking them or putting them on your toolbar from the pets inventory. Pet soul shots help a lot and they are cheaper than your shots. The shots can just be put on a toolbar from your inventory and click to activate them like your shots.
Leveling with a pet takes some practise. Some areas where mobs are not aggro like Execution Grounds outside of Dion (lower level but not on the Trees side) are easy and safe for pet if you hit the mobs first.
My best spot for leveling pets is in a cata. Just park the pet in a hall and pull mobs to the hall. AOE is best if you can, and as long as the mobs don't aoe your pet should be fine. Wolf can help in the battle just keep him targeted on the mob you are hitting.
Good luck and have fun :)

Good great wolf gear costs alot. Get a great wolf when u sub instead.
Phoenix dont pay very well on GSS, which is otherwise a good way to make adena for new players (tested it on teon, now I have one of every majestic set).

Warcryer can do very good on its own. You will need to start partying around mid a grade though, thats when it gets a bit harder to kill mobs around your lvl.
But make sure you stop by the pet manager and check how much the wolf gear costs. If you think you can afford it go ahead.
But the top gear for a Great wolf/Fenrir is around 160m.

yes a wolf with gear, and shots, and hp pots and food will cost yah. However,I'm glad I
never waited til subbing to raise one.It become a great dd at 55,when a great wolf, and
saves you money in shots cause its hitting mobs with you.So I really suggest you
stick with it,raise that wolf with you, trust me its awesome!!!!
Feel free, since you on phoenix,to mail me a note,I'll show you just what a high lvl
wolf can do with a high lvl wc.Look for tseralyn in giran.
