Just hit B Grade on my TK sub and was wondering do any of you use the vanguard skill and a 2 handed weapon or just stick to sword / blunt & shield?

Vanguard till 76 if you solo. TK dps is one of the lowest in game with sword and shield, use it only for parties/raids/kama.

sword'n'shield only if u on trains.
untill 74 - vanguard.
74+ - sword'n'shield (starting to hit hs\varka\ketra)

Make sure you take a healer when you're AOE'ing in Vanguard, It won't let you UD or self heal in it but other than that it's decent. Poling on a TK to be different is actually pretty fun.

I guess you can pole and switch to your 2 Handed Sword for that powerful AOE skill.

And if you arent in vanguard u can UD, use toggles etc.

I didn't say to pole in vanguard. I was actually referring to the aoe skill that vanguard gives ya for the 2 handed sword. Pole while not in vanguard is what I was getting at, sorry for the confusion on that.
Had a nice skill crit of 6.6k this weekend on my 6x TK in Vanguard ^^
