What lvl is a kookaburra, when you get it? A newborn wolf is 15 and takes some effort to bring it to 35, even if not too much....

but a kooka runs into a room and can get agro when it heals, being it more enoying to level

I suggest you stay with Kooka,
Suddenly after 36 lvl it dramatially speed up exp rate. ( Some NC developer probably made some joke at exp points for Chicken in 2x-37 lvl )

You will see it easily.
Till 37 - 1 lvl of Kooka is probably 2-3 lvl of master.
After 38 it will be excatly opposite, when master get 1 lvl Kooka get 2 -3 levels.
Such fast exp rate will be till 50 then slow down but still faster than master!


Buy some armour and jew to prevent it die so easy.
One below top (at NPC), are preatty cheap and make big difference.

If you exp with someone else, or close to any NPC 'ask' Kooka to attack one. As result it stays far from mobs not following after you

Depending on your class, there could be a huge difference in what pet fits you best.

i am having trouble deciding what pet to use,
my kooka, (now lvl 53) would be ok for mp heals, but a fully kitted wolf with buffs would do good dmg, so maby better for me to xp with....
i am a soulbreaker currently lvl 70
