It has nothing to do with color of tags.
Those clans have been tried in ally before and summarily dismissed.
Some of them were too inactive, some too inept, some lacked humor and for one of them there was a language barrier we could not cross.

I have no ill feelings toward dosshouse, but to our clan, atm DH was as active as my alt clan, where noone really logs in lol.
Hence why we are looking for new ally.

Why do you guys need an ally anyways? You do most things on your own and join in on other clans' epics, not really sure on the benefits for you.
It has nothing to do with color of tags.
Those clans have been tried in ally before and summarily dismissed.
Some of them were too inactive, some too inept, some lacked humor and for one of them there was a language barrier we could not cross.
im guessing im the lacked humor :-s idk could qualify for any but wasnt "summarily dismissed" i remember clearly how long it took boss to find the leave button/command whatever it was ;-P

On second thought, add KMA to list of clans we dont wanna ally with. Too shady tactics.
As for doing epics, we only go to the ones we are invited to. Although in one case we were the reason that clan even succeeded at all. They seemed unsure of what to do before we joined their Freya raid. And by we I mean the other ppl in clan, since I refused to partake in that raid due to the shady tactics of said clan...

Oh most definitely, Freya was kinda new ish and you guys helped a huge amount and ya, were the reason we killed it. After that though when we kept doing it, we changed up the set up a bit and liked a hybrid way of doing it instead to mainly be able to deal with our lack of 300 weapons.
Not sure why you would bring that up as a point as if we/I would deny it? or obviously (not out of respect) omit that it was KMA you were refering too. Though most would make the assumption on their own I suppose. I remember thanking Muky and you guys a lot for the information to get us started on it.
Only ill will I had towards BoC was during the time members from your ally (DH at the time)got involved in our war. And that is what I am assuming the shady tactics reference is from.
But wow that was so far away and we were over that ages ago. But then again for some of those now in BoC, I still imagine most would not enjoy my company. I respect Muky for how he runs his stuff and appreciate his demeanor. Best of luck in finding an ally you enjoy.

The shady tactics I'm referring to has nothing to do with DH.
If it helps you any, when we helped Nocturnus with raids, there was an abundance of bad players also. Although for the most part they seemed to know what they were doing.
Thanks for clarifying the Freya part, as we are not allowed to speak ill of eachother on this forum, and I omitted your clan name to not have Sace go nuts on me with her Infraction wand.
Compared to us you guys seem to be a pvp clan though, how come you guys are pvping without 300 weps?

I'm actually the most likeable guy in all of BoC.

and if a clan lets anybody in... it's hard not to get annoyed by people in the clan... if you get annoyed by people in the clan, the clan loses its grip on you, and you are forced to either leave, or convince them to leave.
tension within a clan is never good.
smaller clans are more like family.
sure, it has its ups and downs, but you would do anything for them.

We dont really defend any castle, nor do we really attack or try to take one.
I guess we were enough of a nuisance in Goddard though, since 2 clans warred us for shooting them from atop the walls.
PS. From the walls the range is only up to the road, if you are further away you should be out of range.

We tried forming the mass alliance you're all talking about, ended up costing me over 100 million adena per siege on pots (this is back in the day, probably translates to half a bill nowadays) and 2 clans ended up draging all the smaller clans along so they could profit and be selfish and useless, it all fell appart when 1 simple request was made and those 2 clans ended up fighting the other 15-18 clans on a siege field and giving a castle to someone else.
Many times it was offered to have the other smaller clans merge into the clans with more clan skills and level, in this case mine was the clan with most clan skills, since we have all you can get at lvl 9. Everytime this offer was made ridiculous excuses were provided.
We did manage to hold up to 3 castles i believe and rotate the ownership so ppl could work on getting the items for level 10 but even with the large amount of people we amassed when a large pvp clan came along there was not much we could do, most people didnt have the necessary gear nor the capability of following the simplest instructions.
Funny enough most of those clans have now disbanded and merged into other clans or are just inactive.
BoxesOfChaos is clearly one of the most active clans on the server!

No, we dont have wars. Most of our active ppl have atleast one lvl 85, if not multiple. I guess we could put up atleast one really good pvp group, and one less good, but we are a PVE clan.
As for friend clans, we are friendly with a whole bunch, but most of them are in alliances already.
We are not looking for a pvp alliance if thats what you are asking.
