Sws vs bd in god

I'm planning to go for sws or bd in god. Since song/dances will be combined which class is better in your opinion?

both will be enchanters so I would look at the Awakening Race Skills of elfs and dark elfs, see wich ones you like more.

Elf

Swiftness: Increases Atk. Spd. and Casting Spd. Also increases Spd. when you are not in combat. Passive skill.
Water Blessing: Increases Water Atk., Water Resistance, and MP Recovery bonus. Passive skill.
Finesse: Increases P. Critical Rate and M. Critical Rate. Passive skill.
Anticipation: Increases P. Evasion and M. Evasion for a period of time. Active skill.


Dark Elf

Dark Presence: Increases STR and INT at night. Passive skill.
Wind Blessing: Increases Wind Atk. and Wind Resistance. Passive skill.
Life Siphon: Converts an amount of damage inflicted on an enemy into HP to restore you. Passive skill.
Vanish: Cancels all your debuffs, increases your Spd. for a period of time, and makes you untargetable. Active skill.
Sharp Mind: Increases P. Critical Rate and M. Critical damage. Passive skill.

BD can use dual swords from lv40-99 (you will need to upgrade your weapon on the way to 99 ofc :D). Dark Elfs have more strength and it will feel like you can do more damage then Elfs when with average gear.

For SWS best weapon 40-85 is dagger/sword with focus sa.

Holy atribute past lv76 for both :)

pick a cause of the looks too because as you can see after 85 both will be almost the same with a little small difference

Elf is very beautiful, Dark Elf is so cool. There is a little difference between these classes.
I will choose Blade Dancer because Dark Elf is the scion of Shilen - The Goddess of Destruction! :D

Light Elfs are so flat that I can't the difference between males and females :eek:

Check the PINK girly hairstyle for males at the creation screen :D

BD was always better, does more damage with a Bow in PvP. SWS was always weaker but needed of course for the specific Songs...Now that Songs and Dances are combined, the SWS doesn't have many advantages over BD.

i'd say the advantage would go to SWS is almost every situation; including the fact they can sing with any weapon, making them better to have in any ranged group.

I think that orcs are not a good material for dancers or singers :rolleyes:

On serious side... Your dualclass will get same stats as main (orc in this case). I don't think that dagger+shield on sws will go well with low dex. Better options would be duals and then you can go crazy with your orc STR/CON stats on BD.

honey DEX doesn't work that way in GoD anymore, shield def is then based on CON which orcs do have plenty off..

btw slightly off topic but pending on how strong you make a char an SwM can easily kill BD's and very big lol at the bow comments as this isn't C4 anymore.. deflect arrow + archer resist song is dead archer.. this changes in GoD but only for Awaken Archers..

so having said that I challenge any SD to fight my SwM, pretty sure you'll die :) just hurry as after GoD go live I won't be one anymore cause sws/bd's get ***** imo as enchanter class isn't even close to what the bard class used to be..

Who gives a **** if a SWS can kill a BD in 1v1, of course it can, it always can, but the purpose of L2 is to not beat other chars in 1v1 unless. I suppose SWS is decent at olympiad, but there are better farmers.

Dreacke, you are not normal SWS :D I'm talking here about average players :p

You are right about CON, I forgot they changed shield block mechanics. Btw, did they fix that abnormal shield blocking on tank, which does not allow to perform actions, because of the animation?
