Hello,

I've just started the game, and I'd like to get some advices about which skills I'd better pick, knowing I plan to dual wield daggers as soon as possible (from the level 81, if I'm right).

I already know which class path to follow (Elven Fighter → Elven Scout → Plains Walker → Wind Rider → Othell Rogue), but I didn't really thought about which skills I should choose, untill I've started to play. And, well, if I don't really want to know the best strategy, I'd like to avoid to choose skills that will be worth nothing when I'll stop to play with a dagger for double daggers (waste my SP into something I won't use anyore later really bother me).

So, like "Mortal Blow" can't be used with dual daggers, it's something I'm avoiding to select. What about "Dagger Mastery" and "Deadly Blow" ? It's safe to choose those or they're both single daggers' skills ? If they're... Don't tell me there isn't any other passive skill than "Dual Dagger Mastery" (which can only be acquiered from lv 81) that have an effect on dual daggers.

In fact, what I'd like to know is which skills can be used by both kinds of daggers. By the way, if you want to help me and know where I can find this kind of information, you can simply redirect me to any website, you don't have to really explain me everything in detail if it has been already done elsewhere. I've made some research, but I wasn't able to answer to my questions by myself (the only relevant thing I found was the L2GC’s Lineage 2 Database (http://l2gc.com/db/) ; and, once again, if you know other website/database/wiki, feel free to submit links).

In advance, thank you.

Welcome to L2! The skills and masteries that are available to you at lower levels will for the most part all help you reach your high level. It isn't a quick path to lvl 80+, so if you don't want to take forever you will need them! The masteries are great because they provide you with base stat increases for your normal attack and defense, and the dagger skills are huge damage dealers to help you kill quick.

The only thing I would avoid are any self-heals, charm, and anything bow related. The SP you earn at low levels is NOTHING, so just get the skills...at 70+ you will be killing things and doing quests that give you more xp/sp in a single hour than you get in a week as a lowbie!

Enjoy the game!

Thanks for the reply !

Hum... Like I currently use the dagger and it seems not really possible to wait to be able to learn skills which can be used with dual daggers (too), then I learn the skill Mortal Blow. Of course, aside from this one, I focus on skills like Dagger Mastery and Light Armor Mastery (yeah, I've reached the level 20 and became an Eleven Scout).

The only thing I would avoid are any self-heals, charm, and anything bow related.Alrighty ! I take due note of this (as well as the rest of your message).
