you seem to miss the whole point. if i would have wanted to play on naia or chronos with those chars who exist since 6/7 years, i would have started playing there instead of magmeld and have lvls and gear faster.

I think many people who chose Magmeld as their server did so to have a fresh server without all the uber stacked chars running around.
ofcourse, server transfers were going to open eventually, but this early and then even free?

ncsoft just made magmeld the official garbage dump of chronos/naia.

Hi I'm a new player and I'm on Naia because it is running on EU time zone. It's almost impossible to login there due to high server traffic. But I don't understand what's the point of transferring charakters from one heavy loaded server to another heavy loaded one. Makes no sense at all!!!!
If they made a new server and offered transfer to that one would have been great, but what's the point of moving characters to an already full one???

They are looking for a place to dump their over populated ppl onto another server, problem is we have all the same issues as they do expect one, we can log in, but we still have the bots and the shot's lag.

I can hardly play solo atm in any risky areas in case I am overrun with mobs and get no shots.

The most stupid part of this all is they didn't wait to even see what kind of time zones they set up this new poll with. Nia and Cronos are up in arms as it is due to their desires for special times.

In any case, they should allow for free transfers of any and all chars in the restricted requirments that they already have lined up to any server. I wanted NA time zone and a low pop server, now they might/are going to take both things away from me and I pretty much have to sit on it ? I'm pretty ******.

Agreed, I'm completely outraged at all of this too. I'm also on the NA time zone so I feel your pain. But that was something I was just going to deal with and get over. However, then they throw out this whole free server transfers bull, it's just crossing the line.

They should make it so the current Magmeld players can freely transfer to Bartz before the Chronos/Naia trash come over. That seems fair to me, since we don't have too much of a start on the Bartz players at all. Not that it should matter, since NCWest is literally throwing +7 year old players into a less than 2 month old, brand new server anyway.

Veterans will bring their experience. As for equipment, I can't see them further ahead than any server with this incredible accelerated leveling and gearing.

There are many problems lol. It'll screw the entire server economy for one, unbalace the (although I agree slightly with you there) "PvP" on this server, and the amount of traffic will be worse than ever.

The biggest problem is that it's a brand new server, just picking up and getting on its feet. It is way too soon for these +7 year old time players to be transferring over. It's ridiculous. You better believe these players have anything and everything under the L2 sun. They had +7 years to play (bot) for it all, remember. And I, like many others I'm sure, wanted a FRESH start on a FRESH server, hence playing here in the first place.

Like epic jewels, WTFoverenchanted gear, elements, more money on one char alone then what one can acquire so far on this server, oh and chars loaded down with top B grd weaps that this server has a shortage on and would pay eye/teeth for?

Dude, wake up, not to be rude, what kinda fight do you see these battles being like, in this game it's not whole on for experience, but who is better lvled/geared.

Good example, a lvl 40 player who has been playing this game for 6 yrs vs a lvl 75 player who has been playing for 6 mths, who you think will win that fight?

I don't feel it will kill this server, but it deff won't be a new server anymore, and as far as I know all of us who came here weren't looking for an old server but a fresh new one. If we wanted an old one thats already been worked over a dozen times, we would have picked cronos/naia.

XdemonX I'll give you an idea of what it's like in terms of xp. Chronos top xp is 300 something billion xp gained while your server is 70 something. You don't even break into the top 100 of chronos or come close to it. A few people have full r-95 sets and are way further along than you think

The only people left on the original servers are mostly the truly hardcore. Most would have botted (but never caught). Most definitely bought Adena at some point in the game as well.

Anyways i can't say too much apparently since my last post tickled the nerve of sace. Ah well ncsoft....same old same old.

Adena and gear what u wear is all u need. you dont need other junks in ur wh. you dont need to bring entire wardrobe or hat collection. additional weapons and armors can be moved on alts. How hard is it to make a lvl 40 toon? 99% things u can't bring over in ur inventory, u can simply buy on new server with the massive adena. Assuming each 85 + dude will have their own 85+ buffer, thats 14bil. So you can't bring consumables over? guess what, its still much cheaper on new server than on old.

Gear difference is small, but there is a difference. 'Majority' of players on old servers are 120 ele x3 on each armor part, where as new server will be lucky to have stuff other than earth. For boss jewerly its not only valakas / antharas difference, but also high enchant on other boss jewels that have been acumulated over years.

Top 100th person on old server is still 2 levels higher than top on new server lol. As for pvp, a group of 7+ year old players will win over group of old hands down 99 fights out of 100.

If ncsoft gave 3 months b4 flooding players then the gap would be much smaller. Cant say much since this is f2p and ncsoft is pushing people on new servers to pay to win to compete against older, geared, higher level players.

Stop with this "What If, If, If, If..." lol
NCSoft offered to us a "brand new" server, so we had a choice
- Play with the old guys that already have everything like epic jewels, ++ equipment full elements
- Play with the new guys where everyone will have equal chances to do everything like the first epics, sieges, etc.

This is the point:
If they wanted to play here in Magmeld they should've started from 0 as we did because it "was" a new server.
If we wanted a server with players that already have zillions of adena, elements alot and etc we should've chosen Naia or Chronos.

Everyone that i know here in this server just came here because it was new and after only 1 month and 10 days they started to screw this.

As i play on Chronos and they are not doing anything about tons of loged bots,mentoring system etc i`m glad and hope many people will move to Magmeld so maybe i can play better,Magmeld has the half traffic problems than Chronos,with this ******ed event for example i could log any time in Magmeld ,i did not need to try more than 10 min, on Chronos could not log 1day-2.
Some people are happy with this transfer, cannot please everyone
and for the record,i`m not a old player on chronos i just found more advantages to play on an older sever ,unlike others

C'mon lol.... i agree that the transfer is a crap but 200kk max players here ? You can make alteast 200kk per day :o
