I'm in the process of lvling a new character. I heard of the stone of destiny and I thought of giving a try.

Character is currently lvl 61 aballaster. (Archer/Female)

I understand the procedure of using the stone of destiny along with the scroll of awakening.

My question is this:

Why is the Kamael race the best option for the summoner? is it because of the basic character attributes?

If you had a chance to create a new character and use the stone of destiny... what character would you create and why?

When? It's a Kamael racial skill, not 3rd class skill.
And you can't summon pets after transforming, you need to summon them before.

By the way, it's called Body Reinforcement.

not sure what the cooldown is but they should change the use time to 20-30 sec, just like BR (iss)

Sorry but final form is not body reinforcement, it doesn't "stay". Final form is a class skill that vanishes when u awaken, i have the skill (body reinforcement) right now as i speak.

Final form can be not learned if you want, the moment you awaken you auto-learn body reinforcement, that's why final form is not a racial skill.

Body Renforcement (aka Battle form) is not 3'rd class skill for god sake; it is racial skill.
Flying body reinforcement (aka Aerial battle form) is also racial skill but can be used only in Gracia continent.

Both body reinforcement and Final form have the same exact look; but Final form is automatically forgotten once you hit awakening button and they get body reinforcement after that.

They don't realize that Body Reinforcement ("Awakened" Final Form) is a RACIAL SKILL.

"Nothing" was regarded to the subject in discussion which was "body reinforcement". This skill ain't getting removed. I know perfectly that all 3rd class skills are removed as posted by Elmar on rochand long time ago on that Elf race picture.

I have awaken using the stone of destiny. Kama now is a wynn summoner.


I ran into an issue here.

i cannot use flying body reiforcement. Body reinforcement is awesome

however, Flying Body Reiforcement requires 20 souls to transform.

When you awaken, the soul gathering skill disappears.

Does it mean I cannot use that skill any longer?

Now my question would be:

This is my 1st summoner. Why can the Kamaels be the best summoners?
is it because of the basic stats?

STR 40
INT 96
Dex 28
WIT 78
CON 38
MEN 75

So based on some of the conversations i've been reading.. the Reapers are physical damage correct?
Now wouldn't a Higher STR hit a lot harder? (Currently using bow)

Did I misunderstand something here? Did I make a mistake?

This 5 mins of xform can make a big difference on raids mostly.
In effect they double your stats and it stacks with Battle Rapsody.
To put things into perspective with lvl2 buffs + xform + BR +str tat +apo bow
the 3 cougars have close to 40k p.attk each and 430 (if i remember correct) crit rate at lvl 90 (cougars 89).
Increase stats more if party solidarity/clan leader buff/p.atk hat/other party char/summon hitting you for cougar loyalty, etc. are present.
Combine with effective boss debuffing and you get the picture.
Also all xform attack skills use 1 mp :-) as an added bonus.

So you probaly will not learn Spirit of Navbiarok at lvl95 too?
its the same thing as kamael transformation.

And on lvl95, kamaels have 10min transformation using one after other.

I tryed using a d elf summoner and after awakening heal power is not so big (above all using a light set), so loosing the skill servitors heal during transformation is not a great loss in my opinion.

So the question is: is it good to transform and kill only with pets or is it better to kill with pets without transformation and + marks and nukes?

Second question: which pets best benefit the transformation?

Any transformation is good for pve, it does increase your p atk but also makes you unable to use any class skill, so you wont be able to heal pets, use balance of life, marks, summon barrier, tp and plus you get a hp/cp reduction, even with the kamael body reinforment which doubles you p def, m def, p atk, m atk you still have like 4k cp wont save you most of times at pvp.

If you have an backup Iss like most of ppl the heal wont be an issue, just do the quest more than meets the eye http://l2vault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=384 to get the trasnformations and have fun.
Most transformations turn you into a fighter increasing str, cougars and reapers get a boost from that status, but they also decrease int that way reapers magic skills get a nerf.
So for pve transform and let the pets do their job.

Can i attack with summons?
Because i'm playing also on a private server and there when i transform i cannot use the command to make my summons attack the target. So is it a bug or really i cannot attack with summon when transformed?

Can i use, during the trasformation, a skill from the augment on the weapon?
